Stayed for a concert so the location was excellent. Fran's across the street was handy for a late after show drink. Buffet breakfast included was good but wouldn't pay for it if it was an extra. parking handy but not if you have a big car! Room was ok but it was musty. Pool was a mess, falling apart and...

This is a reasonable room for business travel. The hotel is within walking distance of the mall and eating areas. The restaurant in the hotel is overpriced and the service was extremely slow with one staff acting as host, waiter, cook and bus boy.

Got a great deal through their website in November, so booked two separate night stays for Dec. Arrived on the Sunday of the ice storm--great location, just 5 minute walk from Union Station. Room was fine, breakfast buffet adequate, and convenient to St. Lawrence Market and pubs as others have mentioned. Returned on the Friday for another single night's stay...

Decent hotel in a decent location. Nothing fancy but functional clean and ideally great for business. Really close to St.Lawrence market which is where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. 20 minute walk to downtown.

We had a wedding party that stayed overnight on December 30 and had great rates for the out-of-towners. In the morning, as father of the bride, I hosted a buffet breakfast get-together. The staff extended the breakfast time, set up an area for us, and provided us with fresh offerings -all much appreciated . The gym was quite decent as...

The hotel is well situated for central Toronto and within walking distance of most attractions. Parking is $25 for 24 hours. There are several restaurants and pub across the street. Rooms and service is more than adequate. Breakfast is pricey for what is available.

Stayed here on NYE 2013 because it was close to the club we were attending. Front staff were very welcoming and helpful and from what I saw just about all of them were bilingual. Nice, clean modern looking lobby and cafe. One issue I had is that the underground parking lot for the hotel is owned privately, so it's park...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
