We stayed here for the May long weekend celebrating a night out for a bride-to-be. In advance of the room booking we asked if they could do something special in the room. Once we arrived there were balloons, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne on ice with a nice message. They really nailed it! She felt very special Thanks Hyatt Staff...

Title says it all. We loved the location and the staff are top notch. We are not complainers, something has to be really wrong for us too make a fuss. Room wasn't huge, but adequate. 2 bottles of water complimentary, and coffee in room, great. But beds were not comfortable. Worn out and saggy. Sheets, omg, wouldn't stay on the...

Courteous staff, right in the center of the Entertainment district. Perfect for business. Internet service can be better, faced frequent disconnection during my stay. The view from the room was excellent.

I preface this review by stating I booked this through Hotwire and had no idea what hotel I would get. I have to say I was happy. The room was clean and large. We were able to check in prior to 11am with no issues. The staff were friendly and the location is excellent. The rooftop pool is a bonus....

The staff (including the cleaning staff) were friendly and accommodating. The room was quiet and well kept - but small. Very small. We had a room facing the CN Tower with two full beds. There was hardly enough space to move around in there and we were only two adults and a child. Bottled water was provided free of charge...

This hotel is ideally located in the heart of Toronto. Great access to shopping, nightlife and restaurants. However the hotel does enforce a quiet policy after 10 p.m. which it adheres to. So try not to have a conversation or laugh too loud after 10 p.m.or risk having hotel security knock on your door.

The location in the heart of the entertainment district was the biggest plus for this hotel. We were told to ask for a room on a high floor as the noise from King Street could be a bit much late in the evening. We asked and I'm glad they DID NOT accommodate our request as the first morning 3 of...

Good rooms, good location. Two big issues: (1) parking costs 32.00, which would have been nice to know when checking in, (2) They will add the DMP fee to your bill, and then act like you should have been told it was optional, after you bring it to their attention. Felt very slighted in this regard.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
