Hotel was in a great location! Had so many restaurants right outside their steps. You could also walk to all the main attractions from here! You can tell that it had been recently renovated, very modern feel. My biggest complaint about this place was that we showed up around 4:30 in the afternoon and our room was not ready -...

Gorgeous place, could stare out window all day/night. Spotless hotel with the most welcoming staff. Breakfast buffet excellent. Thank you Hyatt for making our first trip memorable. The swimming pool was heated also which made outside swimming even better. Stunning hotel and one day we will be back!

My family and I stayed in Toronto at this Hyatt for three nights during our Canadian vacation. Fabulous hotel! We had a one king bed suite with pull out couch. Perfect for my husband and I and two kids ages 11 and 7. Delicious hot breakfast buffet in restaurant and a nice rooftop pool (kinda full of 20somethings over the...

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for one night and checked in on the later side. The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was updated and modern. I loved the hotel's location as there are so many things to do that are within walking distance. Great restaurant selection and shopping close by. I will definitely be staying here...

I found the hotel itself to be up to date & modern, we checked in on Sunday & checked out on Thursday. I found the hotel cleaners to be very friendly & upbeat. A great location for a hotel. Loved the roof top pool & lounging areas. We requested a roll away cot for our daughter but it was very...

We stayed here for 3 days during the heat wave in Toronto and loved it!! Highlights...outdoor pool on 17th floor with view of the CN Tower. They had a bar open on the weekends and music and during the week you could have room service bring you drinks. Great place to start and end your day (open 6:30am-10pm). Bottled water...

Reserved a room as part of my sister's wedding block and was wholly unimpressed for the price tag and location. I'll keep it brief. We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Toronto for Blue Jays games. Couldn't be more perfectly located to the stadium. Only 2 short walking blocks and we were at the stadium. Located on King Street and had an entire block of restaurants across the street which made for easy dinning. Wayne Gretskys, Wahlburgers are just 1 block away. Highly...

We selected this hotel based on the location and the fact that there is a pool. After touring the city each day it was wonderful to relax and take a swim. Our 20th floor room was very modern, well appointed and extremely clean. Although we faced the construction site next door, it was quiet at night. The standouts here are...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
