Stayed four nights while at recent Conference. Was given nice corner room with great views of CN Tower and City. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, but pillows were too soft as usual for my tastes, and headboard was too far back. Nice modern flat screen tv, and AC worked good. Food at Conf. Was excellent and catering staff...

I have visited this hotel twice for business trips. The location cannot be beat. It is very easy walking to Jays games, shopping, and great dining options. The hotel is nice, but the bathroom design and layout is pretty awful. There is no counter space, the toilet is very awkwardly positioned, and the bathroom is quite small overall. If you...

My wife and I attended a conference at this Hyatt. The rooms on the 9th floor were arranged by the conference host and were very adequate, comfortable and clean. We were disappointed that the TV had a very limited selection of US channels. There was a king bed and a roomy bathroom however it did not have any safety grab...

Living shortly outside of the city, this is our go to hotel for the Toronto downtown area. Rooms are a great size and beds are very comfortable. Minutes walk to the CN tower, Ripleys, The Second City, Rogers Centre ect. Highly recommend for an night or weekend to enjoy all Toronto has to offer.

Spent a week at this hotel for a business meeting. It was a great experience. The staff were amazing. So accommodating. Some people complained that their rooms were old and tired but my room on the 19th floor was newly appointed and very nice. The gym is good but the pool is very small. The hotel is a short walk...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on Monday May 30. We were in Toronto to see the Blue Jays. Not far from the ball park. Very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff provided friendly and helpful service. We would stay here again.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
