Stayed here for one night and was impressed by the size of the room. It is probably one of the largest room's Ive stayed in for the price paid which was quite reasonable. It was a short stay and relatively uneventful but the location is great and it's an interesting experience having a view of the baseball diamond out of...

It was my first time staying at this hotel and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. The overall experience was exceptional and the service was very helpful as all the represenatives ensured we were taken care of. Everything started from the moment I called to verifverify details and the representative (Alexia) made it evident that...

We booked this hotel as we attended a hockey game in Toronto on NYE. The room was well set up, relatively spacious. The bathroom was a bit dated, but clean; some tiles showed rust and there was a light bulb out. That was the extent of the positive! Our room was on the side of the Rogers centre which would...

Dear Jessica M, While I am pleased that the size of the room and location of the hotel met your needs, I am sorry that you did not have a restful night. That is never our intention. Although we do deploy extra security on New Year's Eve and Pay Duty Officers, we do not have security on each floor. It...

Great location, steps away from everywyere. (Rogers center, ACC, ripley's aquarium etc). Alot of nice restaurants, clubs/bars/pubs around the area) Service: All staffs are very polite and super helpful. Room is nice and clean. Love the new and chic décor. Food at the restaurant is excellence. Enjoyed the stay very much, will def return to this hotel.

Just stayed two nights with my husband and two year old. The valet men, bell man desk and concierge all went above and beyond for us. Always friendly and helpful. They definitely made our stay enjoyable. Valet was worth the $10 more per night, our room with separated bed and living areas (by a wall not a door) was convenient...

I have stayed at this hotel for 2 nights after a few years interval. And what a difference. It has been always a unique hotel . It is a part of the huge stadium Rogers centre. Therefore, rooms are spacious and some unique with a stadium view. Now with renovation in rooms are done, they are clean modern and upgraded....

This was my first stay in Toronto so I didn't really know what to expect. Booked this hotel through the Hotwire and was pleasantly surprised. Fantastic hotel right under CN Tower. Great service and huge rooms :D Very happy :)

My wife and I had planned a lovely pre-Christmas weekend getaway. After a few searches, we came upon the Renaissance in Toronto. Granted, it is part of the Roger's Centre/Dome. However, it's spectacularly located where shopping and eateries are but a short walking distance from the hotel. And, the CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium is just next door. One weak...

No complains about the overall service, our only comment about this place was no ''safety deposit box'' in the room. If you want to leave important documents like passport or etc. hand them over to front desk which I find very weird. As a person who frequently stayed at the Marriott, I am very used to having a safe in...

Dear Juan A, Thank you for your review. I will share your suggestion of having safes in all of our guestrooms with our parent company. It is not an inexpensive task to suit all of the closets with safes. The hotel was initially constructed without. This is why we provide them behind the front desk in a locked area. Perhaps...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
