I went to Toronto for the Easter long weekend and we wanted to visit the Casa Loma, ROM and Bata Shoe Museum. I chose the Intercontinental Yorkville for its location and was not disappointed. The room had two queen-size beds and was spacious. There were a bathtub and a standing shower in the bathroom; toiletry products were of good quality....

We chose to arrive by limosine to avoid city driving and it worked out. Bloor Street is a busy road with a cycle lane so it gets tricky to pull up to the lobby entrance. They do have valet parking service if that's your thing. The checkin was quick and help to the room was no problem. Our room was...

This was a business trip and wanted a hotel within walking distance to Queen's Park. The Intercontinental Yorkville offered more than I expected. Excellent maintained hotel with modern, clean, comfortable rooms with many amenities. Enjoyed my stay and definitely would re-book here.

This hotel is centrally located in the Yorkville district of Toronto across from the University of Toronto and the Royal Ontario Museum and near businesses, shops and restaurants. Small but nice lobby and a simple restaurant. Efficient doormen and friendly and helpful front desk staff. The only major wrinkle was that I paid for a view room and was given...

Very friendly staff, spacious room with everything one needs for a business trip. Coffee, tea facilities. good internet connection. Good location. Very silent and clean. Please provide a hairdryer with a longer chord and don't welcome guests with a bottle of mineral water at the price of 9$ + tax Breakfast not ideal for an Italian: a huge choice of...

intercontinental is ideally located in central Toronto, rooms very good and decent space well appointed with friendly staff and good service throughout. The restaurant is very good for breakfast and the overall quality of the property is high. I should mention Mesfin in the Azure restaurant who, despite serving hundreds of guests remembers people's preferences whether a small group or...

Valet staff extremely friendly, check-in staff very helpful so much so that they helpfed us find a solution to a last minute need of alterations. We were fortunate to get an upgrade to a Suite; the room itself was clean, a good size including the bathroom that had a separate stand up shower and tub. If you have luggage the...

Stayed here for 4 nights. Nice hotel and location is good. St George station is a few minutes walk. The station crosses both lines which is useful. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
