We had a delightful couple of days at this KOA which we stayed. While we were here at the off season we got to enjoy the most of the area to ourselves so it was very quiet. The staff was quite helpful in meeting each of our camping needs. (Of course don't forget if you're from USA your gps &...

We recently stopped over at the KOA in Thunder Bay. We had initially planned to stay somewhere else but that fell through when we had camper problems. KOA was very helpful and understanding, allowing us to make, cancel and split reservations. Campground is very clean and has everything one can think of. People there are very nice.

This Campground is located just outside Thunder Bay. Friendly check in staff and a simple process. We were given a good full service location, close to the pool. Easy to set up. Good pool, very warm and plenty room for adults and children. Good stocked sore on site. Poor WiFi though.

Located a few miles East of Thunder Bay, it is only a short distance off the Trans-Canada, which is a location that worked well for our over night stop. The entrance road is long and sadly in need of repaving. Check-in was efficient and the staff were very pleasant. We were directed to a pull-through site at the top of...

this is a huge campground. I got a tent site with electrical hookup. Sites are big and very clean. The showers are amazingly huge. Could fit the entire family in there. The grounds are very dusty on the roads in the campground so kids get lots of dirt on the shower floors. The KOA cooks at the campground too so...

I think the Thunder Bay KOA is now our kids' favourite campground. They loved the pool, splash pad, mini golf, and playground. As parents, we loved being able to let our kids ride their bikes around the campground with other kids who they had just befriended. We found most everyone at this campground to be very friendly. Our kids seemed...

Two issues. The KOA park itself was very nice, good amenities, lots to do and play, good store, pool, clean.  We have stayed in dozens of KOAs.  This one was particularly nice in amenities.  The managerial staff need training. #1.  When I called to reserve, I was told they had one spot remaining that we could fit into.  All was...

Excellent service ethic by the owners. They booked us on short notice when we called in the morning of the same day, waited for us to arrive after hours, had registered us so minimum of paperwork after we arrived at 9:10PM. Showed us to our campsite by golf cart and answered any questions we had about services in Thunder Bay....

We reserved a premium site. Very nice with swing, fire pit.. Table chairs.. Gas grill etc. Pricy but nice. Wifi is almost non existent, even in the office. Most sites are a bit tight. Nice water area. Driving range. Family run place. Easy SATV I would return.

This campground is near main roads with easy access. We were tired from driving so did not partake of the activities, including Canada Day fireworks. We also did not use any facilities so cannot comment on them. Our site worked well for us. There is a well stocked store, pool and play area for children.
