Very welcoming. Beautiful building. All the amenities. I felt quite pampered. It was clean and details were everywhere. Would definitely return. This was a special weekend for us and the Inn made it even more special.

When our junior BC men's and women's curling teams qualified for Nationals in Stratford the hunt was on for a place for 6 sets of parents to stay. Through my sister-in-law's friend we found Marc who stepped up and said he would take us all in without all the fancy amenities and also allow us to use his kitchen for...

You know, it has been six months since you were here, and I still miss the entire gang. You made January an absolute delight, and it was fun to break from tradition and just have one big open house that everyone could and did enjoy. I hope we will have another opportunity to host the BC contingent again, and I...

I can honestly tell you I dreaded 11 o'clock Sunday morning when I had to leave. I believe I might even have had a tear in my eye as I descended the staircase. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by Marc, Frances & Spencer. I had a tour of the downstairs club room and bar area, the living room...

Dear Louise. Seeing this review was a true delight, just as it was having you with us as our guest for albeit too short a time. Your comments and observations reflect the ultimate objective of the Inn's character. one where service should be always present but never obtrusive (except perhaps when Frances and Spencer want to do the Meet and...

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Mark is an outstanding host. He is so personable and really enjoys making your stay perfect. The breakfast was delicious and entertaining as Mark gives you his culinary secrets. Our room, The Regency, was gorgeously decorated for the holidays. And I will truly miss the soaker tub and...

Located near downtown and an easy walk to the lovely T. J. Dolan Natural Area, the Stewart House was a great place for us to stay while in Stratford to catch a performance at the Festival. The rooms are lovely, the service is friendly and competent, and breakfast was awesome! We've adapted a couple of the menu items for our...

This is a hard place to find in the dark, so drive slowly and watch for a big house set well back from the road. If you're a bit late arriving, you'll find a handwritten note with instructions to get in and your room will be ready with lights on, music playing and bed turned down. The rooms aren't big...

This is without doubt the best Inn I have ever stayed in. From the moment you step past the front door you are treated like royalty. We had originally booked the Art Deco suite but were upgraded to the Garden Room. The room was large and oh so comfortable and the attention to detail exceptional. We had morning coffee/tea then...

My friend and I enjoyed a play, Carousel at the Stratford Festival this September. Stewart House Inn had been recommended to us and we made reservations in August for 2 of their lovely rooms. I stayed in a charming small room- The West Indies Suite with an ensuite bathroom and shower and my friend opted for the luxurious Regency Suite...

My fifteen year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed 4 wonderful days/nights at Stewart house. Everything about our stay was impeccable - the service - morning coffee and delicious baked goods brought to our rooms for early morning service, a delectable multi course breakfast, turn down service each evening, Marc (the exemplary Innkeeper) offered help in booking restaurants, theatre and...

We are all humbles by the comments you have made regarding Stewart House Inn. Our principal focus remains entirely on guest service well being, and comfort; and the entire staff fully support that simple but often elusive objective. Thank you so very much for reinforcing to the entire team that the little things indeed do count. We look forward to...

This is the only place to stay in Stratford! The hosts, Marc, Lynn, and Mary, were fabulous, and their exceptional staff ensured we had a wonderful stay over the ten days we were there.
