4 days and 3 nights in Stratford, On HIGHLIGHTS (1) accommodation and breakfasts at Mornington Rose (2) 4 plays, 1 a day (3) 4 dinners about town (4) Only a coffee with a scone, or a half wrap, or a muffin. The accommodation was excellent and the breakfasts FABULOUS. Even though our dinners were very good they did not compare...

We recently stayed at Mornington Rose for a 2nd time to celebrate our anniversary. We saw 2 musicals, walked around the river, and stopped at one of the chocolate shops. We enjoyed a great greek meal at Pizza Bistro and picked up huge sandwiches from Sirkel Foods to eat while we watched the BlueJays in our room, both recommended by...

This was our first stay at the Mornington Rose, but will not be our last. My wife and I are Stratford veterans who attended the festival for twenty straight seasons, almost all in B&B’s. We stopped going about seven years ago, after our favorite B&B closed and the border became such a hassle, but Mornington restored our faith in Stratford,...

All B&Bs are not created equally. Mornington Rose is a wonderful example because it goes well beyond expectations. Victory and Murray marry elegance and hospitality beautifully. The amenities are present from the initial greetings, individually decorated rooms, lovely appointed breakfast table, and the amenities extend to the homey elements of toiletries as well as freshly baked cookies with coffee, tea,...

Such a comfortable, hospitable place from which to explore the charming city of Stratford-many lovely warm touches such as tea and homemade cookies available in the upstairs sitting room--and the breakfasts were true delight.

Nothing is perfect, right? Wrong! The Mornington Rose comes as close to perfection as any place that I have stayed. Murray and Victoria are gracious hosts and accommodating to your every need. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious, and always involve stimulating conversation. Bonus - Murray bakes chocolate chip cookies for evening treats that are better...

We have stayed here several times and have found the rooms comfortable and the breakfast is outstanding. The breakfast has several courses usually starting with a fruit dish and ending with something hot. There is usually some type of muffins or bread as well as jam or jelly.

Eight annual stays at Victoria and Murray's B&B tells you something about the pleasure of staying here. We hads the front room and with the wonderful weather the room's balcony was a plus. Always a warm welcome and tasty breakfasts! Well located to walk to the theatres or Stratford main street.
