We spent two days at the Stonehill B&B. Becky was a gracious hostess. Her breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend a visit to the island and a stay at Stonehill.

Becky, the owner, was waiting for us on the porch when we arrived. She gave us a tour and informed us that there is not a curfew, which was nice to know. Lots of towels and face cloths were provided. The B&B was clean and decorated with lots of antiques. There was a ceiling fan in the room we were...

This place met our needs for location. A quick ride from the ferry, drop our stuff and off we went We will always remember the clutter, dust and tiny hallways. I was tempted to dead head the flowers....I am sure the landlady has been quite busy as she stressed she is usually full. Ok for an overnight, but not for...

The best feature of this house is definitely enjoying the unimpeded sunset view, while relaxing on the wraparound porch. Or you can just lie in bed and watch the sun go down from your window. We slept comfortably with windows open with the lake breeze cooling down in the middle of summer. The breakfast will get you through the morning...

I was there for one night only. The next day was a full house and the landlady stressed a fe times we should be out by 10.30. As we wanted to go for a morning run it all became a bit stressed. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Other friends stayed in another place which was fully booked. It...

We travelled as a group of 6 ( 3 couples ) for a day of biking on the island and then returning the next afternoon at 4 o'clock. The B&B is about 5 minutes from the ferry by bike, and we rode down this long driveway and before us stood this century old farmhouse with lots of character, and a...

I read many of the reviews for this B&B prior to picking one and thought we would try this one out. I don't understand how the people that just stayed at this B&B last week cannot or did not comment on the pure lack of cleanliness - truly - the cob webs, the dust on the ceiling fan in the...

We stayed at Stonehill B&B in July 2014, while on a trip around Lake Erie. We arrived at Pelee Island on a ferry from Sandusky, OH and left for Leamington, ON the following day. Although, we stayed for just one night, it was one of the most memorable moments of our entire trip. Stonehill B&B and the hostess Becky were...

We have stayed on the island five times. The first two were at Stonehill. On our third visit, Stonehill had no vacancy so we stayed at a different B&B, and we're very disappointed. Since we have returned to Stonehill twice. We make a point of booking early now. Becky is the perfect hostess. The rooms are large, clean and well...

Old limestone quarried farm house is impressive with it's original wood floors wrap around porch and pretty gazebo. The bed room was large and clean with old antique accents that help accentuate the quaintness that surrounds you. They have a t.v room to enjoy and lots of nature and various books and magazines. The breakfast was french toast cooked beautifully accompanied...
