Because of the very high cost of accommodation in Ottawa at the weekend we chose The Voyageurs for its very reasonable price & downtown location. It looks pretty bad from the outside but we got a nice surprise when we saw the room, it was clean & newly decorated, it had tv, fridge & excellent wifi & we had our...

I stayed here for 1 night. As a solo female traveller, I felt very welcomed and safe here. My room was spacious and comfortable, had a TV and fridge inside. The place had WiFi and served breakfast, which consisted of pancakes, juice, tea and coffee. There is a bathroom, which is shared by all rooms and had a huge walk...

A reasonably priced place to stay for a night or two. Nice owner, more than happy to help. Outside might make you look twice and drive on, but room for 3 was adequate and clean. Own bathroom. Great location for walk to shopping, tour buses, Parliament buildings. Spent day touring and were able to leave luggage there until train departed...

We checked in see the room and decided to leave. Did not feel safe. A lot of rubbish around and cramped. Very run down shouldn't have gone in after seeing the outside. Though it would be okay by reading reviews on the booking site.

The house was really cramped. The room was okay, but I honestly didn't feel safe just because the locks seem inadequate. The management/ owners were great! Very friendly and very helpful. The location was superb! If that's the only factor to consider, I would definitely recommend to friends. If you're not squirmish about the state of the room, this is...

The place was clean but would have preferred that the establishment be prepared for incoming guests. The room I stayed in was clean and had available towels but no toilet paper in the washroom. Hand soap provided was very watery. TV was not working as well. Breakfast was okay and price was reasonable. Please note they only have onsite parking...

BnB is just behind the bus terminus, very convenient for those travelling by greyhound coach. The hosts are friendly and warm. I stayed here for 4 nights and for breakfast, I could request for the eggs to be done differently each day and they were willing to oblige. My main gripe is that during the 4 nights that I stayed...

Stayed here for one night with my wife and two young kids after a long drive from Niagara. Booked for 2 double beds for $79. When we arrived, the guy in charged Amin told us the room is no longer available but he's got a more spacious apartment he also owns a block away for $89. It has nice hardwood...

Great value for money, excellent location, and very welcoming and warm service. I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of May 2015. I booked this place totally last minute (just 2 days before arrival) because it seemed to be the only hotel in town that I could find online with an available room (seems like there were multiple...

Very close to the Greyhound Station, so close that I could see the buses from the window. Very handy if you are travelling by bus. If you are arriving before 3pm, it is unlikely that you will be able to check in or leave your luggage anywhere. The lady who runs the place is very friendly and welcoming. The place...
