From the moment we arrived we were welcomed in. The decore is Victorian, as of a country gentleman who has travelled the world. Everything is designed to meet the every conceivable need of the traveler, whether for one night or many. Our host is a wealth of information of the area and beyond...even down to the times and best locations...

Very nice b&b. Richard was extremely helpful explaining about all of the popular places to visit & the great things to see, like the changing of the guard at Parliament Hill. Breakfast was filling with a wide variety of choices, quite a spread. We were traveling with my father-in-law and so, got the 2 bedrooms (the Green & the Burgundy)...

Great location in the heart of Ottawa. Host Richard Gervais takes pains to provide for the comfort of his guests, going 'above and beyond.' Our stay at the King Edward B&B was exceptional. Many thanks and we will see you again soon.

We arrived late at night after a long and rainy drive and this B&B was exactly what we needed. This is a lovely home with much personality and character, well-kept and clean rooms, delicious hot breakfast, and a great host. Richard, the owner, is someone who definitely has thought of all the details! He was considerate and helped us with...

Richard is a hard-working and thoughtful host. He went out of his way to help make the trip to Ottawa a great experience. We were there to attend our daughter's graduation ceremony at UOttawa when she sprained her ankle. Even though she wasn't a guest in the house, he loaned her a cane and accommodated numerous phone calls and messages...

Richard makes sure you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. And of course, Sunny is the sweetest dog in Ottawa.

I would put staying at the King Edward B&B as a major experience in visiting Ottawa. There is a lot of history in and around Ottawa and staying in this beautiful Victorian house made it a real living experience. The bedroom was beautiful, very comfortable, bed was great and the room was very quiet. The outdoor patio was fun to...

The breakfasts were excellent and the accommodations comfortable and lovely. Richard, the owner, was extremely helpful to me and my parents. He helped with our many bags, provided maps and directions, .......

We stumbled on this place without checking reviews but, from the first e-mail contact, we knew we had found something great. Richard is soooooo passionate about The King Edward and sooooo good at being a host, that the high quality of everything else just follows suit. He went above and beyond with helpful hints in planning our stay in Ottawa....

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Auberge King Edward B&B and thank you for sharing your experience. I work hard to make my guests feel appreciated and comfortable when staying here and I was very surprised when I read your comment that the bed in the Green room was not supportive enough. This is the first time anyone...
