I've been staying here on and off for 29 years. Cathy & John were still renovating when I first came. Cathy still keeps a steady hand on the tiller, ensuring consistently excellent service through an ever changing cadre of young staff. This is my home for trips to Ottawa. Originally built in 1874, this old lady still has an air...

Richard, Thanks for your great review. It was pleasure as always to see you again. Yes, next year we will celebrate our 30th year at Albert House Inn. It is very rewarding to see guests, like yourself, return to us - it is like welcoming old friends back. Have a great summer!

I booked my father here (70years old) for a mini stay while we were located in Toronto (visiting from Australia) The service he received was outstanding! Having never visited Ottawa before he was given so much information on what to see and how to get there. He was also given an umbrella by the hosts due to the unpredictable weather....

So I stayed at the Albert House the week of May 7th. I had room 401 which is actually on the 3rd floor. I have bad knees and didn't mind the walk up, it wasn't bad at all. The rooms were nice with furniture from the era of the hotel. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower always had...

The Albert House Inn is a cute Victorian B&B run by a super friendly family who are very accommodating. The fresh, cooked to order breakfast is fantastic, and those apple pancakes are a must-try! There is free wifi, tea and coffee in the lounge, cable, optional parking (although street parking was easy enough) and its a quiet area within easy...

I recently attended an academic conference for 3 days in Ottawa and was hoping to find a smaller alternative lodging apart from the usual impersonal chain hotels. The Albert House Inn fit the bill perfectly. Built as a private residence in the late 19th century, it has Victorian attributes that add to its charm. There's a pleasant sitting room just...

We chose to stay here because we find big hotels can become impersonal and lack charm or character. We were not disappointed with our selection! From the warmth of our welcome, to the specification of the room and of course the made to order breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. It was a positive delight to stay here, the room...

Lovely little B&B, atmosphere just like some places I've stayed at in Britain only way more friendly. Adorable Staff. Impeccably clean rooms. Apple pancake breakfast is a must try. Unless my cousin coughs up the keys to her place on the canal, this is where I'm going to stay each time I'm in Ottawa.

Lovely circa 1875 Century Home renovated as a quaint and charming B&B. I have never had better service at checkin. The breakfast was made to order and delicious. Walking distance to parliament building and National Galary. I would definitely return.

Old and beautiful home, well kept, cozy and clean. Breakfast is absolutely amazing. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and well kept. If it is raining take a book to main toon, sit down and relax. The only down side is the location, a but too far from market and tourist areas. No walking distance.
