we stayed in a rustic 2 bedrm cottage for two nights while visiting relatives in the Bay area......the views of the lake and beaches were awesome and the cottage was very clean and comfy.....it took me back to the 50's when camping with my parents and although a bit worn was very clean and comfortable....would def recommend

This was by far the best service that I have ever received. The cottages and property were immaculate and I loved the eclectic look! I will travel again the North Bay, and this will be where I stay.Thank you, for everything. We will be back...soon

A great place if you like '50s style motels. Reasonable price and you can park in front of your door. Irene, the owner, is a sweetheart, but no credit cards accepted. WiFi works fine. Unfortunately, the coffee in the room is of the instant variety. The pub across the road has excellent food.

Well my family and I stayed in cottage "8" for 2 days, it looked cozy in the picture and the price was great at the time,,,,,,,, BUT the cottage smelled musty, the sheets weren`t changed, even the pillows and bedding smelled like sweat, no air conditioning no outlets in the bedrooms. Next time we will find something better not worth...

I've been staying at this place for ages and I'm happy that some things in life don't change! I first came here and thought of that great Mammet film "Glengarry Glen Ross" and have recommended this motel to all my Baldwin Brothers. I imagine if Wayne's World Three is ever made, they'll have to come up here and shoot it....

My girlfriend and I (both visiting from Toronto, ON) found this place by accident about 12 years ago and have returned for at least 1 visit every summer since. We love that it is quiet and romantic at night and has a great view of the sunset and we love that the water depth into Lake Nipissing is only about...

Motels like this one are little known gems for people who do not take pleasure in spending $$$ for a one-night stay in a pretentious hotel-motel. While not "modern" by the usual standards of recent and expensive renovations, it is well kept, well furnished (great bed) and very clean. The price is affordable and the site on Lake Nipissing, beautiful,...

We arrived after a rainy week of canoe camping in nearby Algonquin Park, wet and tired and needing a place to dry out before heading north to Quebec for the next adventure. We were warmly welcomed by Irene, our host, who said to just make ourselves at home. My daughters loved our cabin, which reminded me of places I had...

The owner is friendly and helpful. Found this little gem while "winging it" through Ontario. Very afforable. The motel is clean, comfortable and reminded us of our childhood family adventures across Canada. The cabins are adorable. The beach is sunny, sandy, weed-free and the swimming is fine. The kids enjoyed the ducks and minnows in the water-lily pond behind the...
