My husband & I recently returned from a wonderful weekend at the Annette Twining House B&B in Niagara-on-the-Lake. While I had originally intended to book on a later weekend, Annette mentioned the 5-course progressive dinner put on by the B&B association & Niagara wineries this weekend. After discussing with my husband we reserved tickets, and what a great decision that...

We had a wonderful experience at Twining House! Our hosts were extremely accommodating and the gourmet breakfasts were wonderful! Not your average bed and breakfast. I would highly recommend Annette Twining House. Brian and Janice Good

This B&B is fantastic. Not only was the room very spacious with a sitting room, bathroom and bedroom included, but it was very well decorated as well. The 4 post bed was elegant and incredibly comfortable. The hosts, Annette and Mike were fantastic. We felt like they were old friends by the end of the weekend. The two breakfasts that...

I spent a long weekend recently at this lovely and historic B & B, conveniently located within walking distance of the theatres and shopping district of NOTL. I stayed in Room 2, which I dubbed the “cat room,” due to subtle, tasteful but fun cat-based decorations I found amidst the antique furniture. Although the smallest of the 4 rooms (I...

It took us an horrendous 30hrs to get to Toronto (problems with the aircraft) which meant we had plenty of opportunity to get to know our fellow travellers. One lovely chap, an ex pat, told us we must make a point of going to Niagra on the Lake, saying how beautiful it is and how much there is to see...

This is a great find. Well kept and quiet. Easy walking distance to all theaters. Large yard with several fountains, pond, gazebo, comfortable seating - perfect for reading or visiting. Our room was large and comfortable with a seating area and a roof porch for star gazing and sipping wine. If this isn't enough, a very creative and delicious, five...

My wife and I just returned from a very pleasant weekend in Niagara-on-the-Lake which was made even more perfect by our stay at the Annette Twining Bed and Breakfast. Both Annette and Mike are gracious and accommodating hosts who run a lovely B&B. The rooms are excellent. Well-decorated and furnished. The breakfasts were amazing. Annette is a marvelous cook who...

My husband and I spent last weekend at the Annette Twining House. We went to Niagara-on-the-Lake on the tail-end of my husband's hectic business trip, just a 40-hour getaway to see plays at the Shaw Festival. Then time stopped. We parked our rental car at the bed and breakfast, and didn' t touch it again until we left town, because...

Just got back from four fabulous days staying at the Annette TwiningHouse at Niagara-on-the-Lake. This bed and breakfast has all the elements people look for in a bed and breakfast but rarely find in one place. Annette and Michael are the most charming and accomodating hosts. Because of a long wait clearing customs, we had to check in quickly, change...

Annette and Mike are both extremely friendly hosts and they immediately made me felt so welcome and comfortable staying at their place. As soon as I arrive, Annette is already suggesting places where I can go see and eat. Their house is located really close to the main district within walkable distance. The house is well kept and maintained throughout....
