I made and unfortunately cancelled our reservation online within a couple of hours of each other. My husband and I had wanted to stay here, but realized after changing our route that we'd need to press on if we were to reach our ultimate destination in time. I called the B&B to explain and apologize. The woman I spoke to,... More

From the moment we were greeted by our sweet hostess,Barbara,we felt right at home. She exudes positivity, humour and an all-embracing warmth that you just won't find anywhere else! She bends over backwards to accommodate you. She makes it clear that this is your home while you stay with her. It's just like visiting a long-lost relative and you have... More

I spent this past Saturday night at this lovely B and B. Cannot say enough wonderful things about our hostess Barbara. She made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. We attended the Ice Wine festivities in town and was within walking distance. We will definitely visit Barbara again sometime. The home cooked breakfast was delicious,... More

we were very happy staying at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Dorothy made us feel so welcome and treated us as family. It is very clean and comfortable. Upon our arrival we were given a bottle of wine from a local vineyard, as Dorothy knew we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. For breakfast the next morning she presented us... More

This is an exceptional B & B. Barbara is a marvellous and fascinating host who produces the most amazing breakfasts. Within walking distance of the centre though a bit of hike to the festival theatre. Worth the extra drive from Niagara Falls. Niagara on the Lake is pleasant, quaint, full of restaurants quite apart from its theatre festival. Our only... More

This house has a lot of character and the host is a wonderful lady, Barbara, that will make sure you eat enough of the huge and tasty breakfast. She is the soul of the house, actually. The bedroom in cosy and reminds us of English cottages. Plus, the bathroom has plenty of lavender products - I became a fan! Will... More

Barbara is a warm, friendly host. The B&B is very clean!! Rooms are small but charming. The breakfast was a feast. Reasonably priced, good value! We did not use the wifi, so I can't comment. No TV's but seriously who goes to NotL for TV? Shower was nice and hot. Rooms are small but comfortable, maybe a tad overdecorated with... More

Barbara, I just want to let you know (again) that we had a superb time staying with you at Dorchester House last week. Getting to know you was as much a highlight of our trip as being in Niagara on the Lake with the beautiful weather and surroundings. We found your home particularly warm and inviting, and the breakfasts were... More

My family and I rented all three rooms of this lovely B and B and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Each room was lovely with beautiful bedding, toiletries, and bright fluffy towels. Barbara is a charming host and allows her guests full access to her living room dining room kitchen and patio. Fresh fruit and cookies were at out at... More

My sister and I recently stayed at the Dorchester House for one night during our annual sister's trip. The room may have been small ("quaint") but the hospitality was definitely first rate. Barbara is a warm and welcoming hostess with an effervescent personality that definitely captures your heart. She is eager to share information on the area and was quick... More
