We just returned from our second stay at Ranger's Retreat and are already planning our next visit. We found this wonderful spot last year. We love everything about this special place. The property has stunning gardens where we enjoyed our morning coffee. The pool is a salt water pool. It has a beautiful sitting area around it, that is very...

Brian and Jan deliver an outstanding hospitality experience. We were there for the Shaw Festival and found the Rangers Retreat an Oasis of quiet serenity with a pool and gardens. The highlight is when Brian, at breakfast, explains the 30 plus types of cheeses, breads, fresh fruits, jams, yogurts, on the dining table, and then delivers individual plates of hot...

We really enjoyed our stay at Ranger's Retreat. Brian and Jan are great hosts who truly want you to enjoy the local area and will provide you with as much information as you need to find activities and restaurants to your taste. Brian and Jan were amazing hosts. The house is quaint, comfortable and clean. Brian was extremely helpful and knowledgable when it came to picking wineries and the breakfast was absolutely incredible. It helps that Brian is former chef, who ran a top tier restaurant in Denmark. Next time we go to Niagara on the Lake, this is the first place...

Last year we visited the Niagara on the Lake region for the day as an alternative to a rained out bicycle trip. This year we decided to stay in Niagara on the Lake and bicycle to Niagara Falls and local wineries for a weekend trip. After reviewing various B&B's on different websites, we decided to try Ranger's Retreat and we...

Where to start. We recently stayed at Ranger's Treat in Niagara on the Lake July 11th to 13th, 2016 inclusive. It was nestled in a quiet section of the area and was everything we read about from previous reviews and more. Brian and Jan were exquisite hosts providing for our every need. The rooms were large enough and extremely comfortable...
