My husband and I have stayed at Lyons House a few times and it is our go-to place for a romantic getaway in Niagara on the Lake, located a convenient 5 minutes walk to the town centre. The proprietors Howie & Jolanta are wonderfully welcoming and the accommodation is both comfortable and beautifully appointed. The proprietors are great at providing... More

OH BOY, thanks to Howard and Yolanda for a most enjoyable stay at The Lyons House. The warm welcome we received by Howard as we arrived at the front door was second to none. We stayed in the Sir John's Suite and were impressed with the decor, the comfort of the queen bed and the lavatory conveniences. The breakfast that was... More

We spent the weekend here to unwind after our wedding in Niagara and just WOW. We were so impressed by the gorgeous house, the friendly and personable staff, the amazing and romantic breakfast, our incredible private bathroom, and the hospitality and recommendations by the owner. I cannot recommend this B&B enough! Everything was clean, romantic, and close to the downtown... More

This is a place we certainly plan to visit again. We spent three nights at the bed-and-breakfast and enjoyed every moment. The historic house is totally refurbished with attention to every detail. The owners are lovely and very helpful with dinner reservations, wine tasting options, and anything else you need related to the region. The dining room had every touch... More

This inn has three rooms in a vintage home lovingly cared for by its owners. We ended up in room 3. It is a smallish room with one chair and a tiny WC In the room and a huge modern private bath down the hall. I believe the other two rooms are more spacious. Some will love the room. We... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The hosts were quite welcoming and gave us great recommendations on restaurants and wineries to visit. Beds were comfy and we were spoiled w a grand bathroom fit for a queen across from master Bernard's suite. Breakfasts were also wonderful, plan for a small lunch after these giant breakfasts. The location is... More

Great hotel. Fabulous rooms and a close walk to everything. Howie is a great and knowledgeable host. Breakfasts are outstanding. Howie will book wine tours and restaurant reservations and has good suggestions. Lots of parking. Really neat artwork.

We returned last night from a three day stay at The Historic Lyons House and three plays at the Shaw Festival in Niagara on the Lake. The theater performances were extremely well done. At each play, the audience was so attentive, one could hear a pin drop. Our stay at the Lyons House matched our experience at the theater. The... More

We had the great pleasure of celebrating our friend's 65th b-day at Historic Lyons House. The Bed & Breakfast is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast each morning was delicious, prepared with an artistic touch, and bursting with taste and colour. My favorites were the blueberry pancakes served with maple syrup and pecans :). After coming back from a day... More
