The Carbonnel is located outside of the town center on a quiet street but we still found it convenient to the Old Town approx. 10 minute drive and an over abundance of wineries. Janet gave us tips on places to visit such as the Butterfly Conservatory & Botanical Garden, Canal Museum, places to hike, restaurants, and provided us with tasting...

Hostess was very friendly and helpful, Very "homey" accomodations with comfy bed that we wish we had in our bedroom at home. Breakfast was great!!! What more can I say? We enjoyed our stay and could likely return someday!!!!

Very good facility, very kindly staff, and very delicious breakfast. What we need to take care of is the place is far from downtown. We need to have a ride to grocery store. It was a great memory for us.

Staying at Carbonnel Bed & Breakfast was simply perfect! Janet was very helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. We stayed in the Hydrangea room which was very clean and had a huge Kingsize-bed. Breakfast was delicious - we got served a different breakfast every day! It's a great start to the day. Janet, the hostess, and her husband, Guy, we're superb guides to the area. Janet is knowledgeable of the area attractions and events. And their insights into the many vineyards was helpful when deciding which to visit (there are so many!). The crowning touch to the stay was Janet's breakfasts...absolutely marvelous, and the morning conversation with other guests was always relaxed,...

We had a wonderful time at Carbonnel Bed and Breakfast. The room was very large and comfortable. Very quiet in the country. The host and hostess are wonderful and friendly people. They made us feel like family. The breakfast was the most amazing I've ever had!!! We are definitely going to make another trip out there next year.

I have never been in a B&B where so much was considered for the guest, makeup cloths, umbrella, etc. and a basket full of goodies which may have been left behind at home on previous trips. Everything in the basket was well thought out. Very friendly hosts. Thanks for our enjoyable visit. We will come again!!!!

Thank you for your feedback. The basket of 'goodies' gets added to every time a guest has a request. It's fun to try and think of the items people may have not thought about needing, like flip flops for visiting the falls. We look forward to your return.

“T.V. was small, but who would want to watch television while on vacation in this beautiful town that was voted the " Best little town in Ontario". My husband and I enjoyed discovering and exploring this beautiful wine region. How many award-winning wines did I taste - never mind, I had a great time!!!!”

“There are 3 rooms on the premise. Two upstairs rooms, smaller. We stayed what appeared to be an extension of the main house, with private entrance, and a living room. This is I believe the preferred room. The room is very nicely decorated and furnished. I love the room. My only issue is that it has no bathtub, a minor squabble.”
