Joshua (manager I believe) was fantastic, spoke to him over the phone before arriving. Handled the issues that came up with excellent customer service. The issues: room booked was not cleaned properly. Either guest or employee hair was everywhere in the bathroom & tiled floor area (dark carpets, unable to see any on the carpets). Attempted to move to another room on the 3rd floor. That room was terrible. Cigarette smoke saturated in the room, the previous guest had wrapped the smoke detector in a plastic bag tapped it up. Hotel violation obviously but a very serious fire hazard. We cleaned our original room of the hairs & other things. Stayed there instead. Yes (heater/ac didn't work either). On the positive side, room size great, bed very comfortable & the bathroom size/design was The best I'd see without a jacuzzi (wheelchair access). If I could get the same room but cleaned & working heater & ac, with THAT bathroom again. I'd stay again, wanted to try the pool but maybe next time. The manager & the bathroom was what saved use on our stay. But cleanliness is EXTREMELY important especially during Coivd-19 locked down. Manager was again fantastic! …
We arrived only to find crumbs in the bed, a filthy ice bucket and literal dirt and other filth in the dresser drawers. We called the front desk and got no answer. When we went down and complained to the front desk they said they could not offer us a new room and that they didn’t have a clean ice bucket for us.The staff was.. unpleasant to say the least and 3 of the ice machines didn’t work. Also, the so called “Arcade” had one game in working order. Don’t waste your money here. The hotel is very old and outdated, I would recommend the ramada on ferry street as i’ve had a wonderful experience there.
We stayed for 4 nights. Everything was very clean. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. When we checked in our TV did not work. Prashant immediately moved us across the hall. For the price of $50 a night it was more than adequate. When booking on the phone I would have appreciated being told that there was a parking fee. This was waived upon check-in. It would also be nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room. There was a microwave down the hall
This hotel is below standards. It is old, dirty, falling apart. Just go elsewhere. Come for the iHop where service and good are great. It is a disgrace and this place should be closed for renovations!
My toilet was stained of urine and feces. Windows full of fingerprints, telephone was dirty as well as the remote control for the TV and A/C. When I asked to get my toilet cleaned I was told it was impossible so they decided to change my room to a room that was worse than the original. COVID-19 rules are not being respected. I have also complained to the authorities. I asked for sanitizer to clean my room myself but I was told that because of COVID-19 they were not allowed to give it to me,
