We booked this trip over a year ago for 5 people 2 rooms with Falls view $1000 for 2 nights, we ended up on the lower floors with a fantastic view of dumpsters and trees, on complaint they gave us 1 room with a Better view but seriously tatty broken blind and one missing, wallpaper peeling of the wall, the hotel is in desperate need of modernisation it’s very tired, old and dirty, be aware of the additional parking charge $50 to park on site per day and $30 for off site. At least the staff were pleasant.
it was just an amazing hotel, the view of the falls that was given to us from our room was amazing, the people at front desk were professionals. The hotel location made you be safe.Overall very satisfied, will book the same hotel on my next visit.
Overall, the hotel suited our needs. The view we had of the falls was spectacular. In retrospect, I might have chosen a hotel a little closer to the tourist area. The room was large and spacious and was very clean. It was handy to have a small fridge to keep our water cold, but we did not use the supplied microwave.
Hotel near to the falls. Location is fine, but definitely not the fallsview they promise. My room had maybe a 2 degree slice where you could see a tiny part of the river next to the falls. Otherwise, a generic, okay hotel with the falls easily within walking distance.
Internet slower than the slowest snail in the world and nothing was done about it when reported. I was actually told by the receptionist when I went to her to complain, that she is not the internet service provider.
Rooms were super expensive and service was very poor in comparison. Rooms weren't cleaned properly. There wasn't any toothpaste, tooth brush, milk (for coffee), plates or spoons in room. How can I even use microwave if there is no plate. How can I make coffee if there isn't any milk. There were only two coffee sachets in room. VERY VERY STINGY HOTEL. I called room service and asked for extra coffee or milk. They said we dont do that. I asked them to deliver coffee from their own restaurant and I am ready to pay extra but they dont do that either. Very poor and inefficient service, Would never stay here again
Had I paid $120 for a night's stay, I would have been happy. But when you pay $400 for a room on the 3rd floor without a view, you expect something in other categories. Hotel is dated. The fluorescent lighting, the ceiling tiles, the cracked sink, the stained toilet seat, the stained bathroom tiles, the ugly carpet, the depressing lobby and swimming pool, the tiny single elevator, all scream of the 80s. $30 for offsite parking. Arrived at the room and the sheets weren't clean. I mean the list just goes on and on and on. I genuinely believe anyone giving this hotel 5 or even 4 stars has not been to a nice hotel before.
We were welcomed by very knowledgeable, friendly staff. The room was above expectations, and the view was incredible. When we decided to stay a second night, staff ensured we had a seamless move to our new room. What a great experience!
We had a mixed experience of this hotel. We splashed out for a room with a view of the falls, and we certainly were not disappointed with the view -- an amazing spectacle of the horseshoe falls. The hot tub next to the window was rather nice too. Sadly, the hotel itself is in need of some rejuvenation. It looks quite old and tired, almost as if it hasn't been re-fitted since the 1960s. Furthermore, the room stank of body odour when we checked in (although the a/c was able to remove the smell quickly), and there was a small bloodstain on one of the pillows, which is obviously not acceptable. Otherwise the bed was big and comfortable, and the room was quiet (apart from a very faint rumble from the falls, which is nothing to complain about!), so we slept well. Disappointingly the wifi only worked in the lobby, not the room, Breakfast was available from the adjacent Turtle Jack's restaurant, and was fine. The staff were all lovely. There was a small billing error, which they corrected without hesitation. Apparently they do not provide luggage storage after check-out 'as standard' (despite this being listed as an amenity at the time of booking), but fortunately the staff were able to look after our bags for a few hours anyway.…
Always clean, staff is friendly. Nice hotel, great view. Had a top floor room during this stay and I enjoyed it. The only thing is that it is far from Clifton hill. I don't recommend the 30 min walk. Better off calling a cab to get to the hill. Unless you find parking in one of the lots for $10 but with what you pay in parking at the Radisson and the risk you could lose your spot, I don't recommend taking you car.
