The view is just amazing. The hotel looks a bit rundown. But the view is simply enchanting. The light show and fireworks as you watch the water flow by. Great location. comfortable stay. The hotel amenities are not the greatest but again worth the money spent.
Me and my mum stayed at the Marriot on the Falls. It is in incredible hotel and perfect for tourists who want to get the full experience of Niagra Falls. It is walking distance from Niagra Falls, Niagra’s Fury and the hotel has a short-cut back entrance- we used this almost everyday. The staff are polite and friendly, the rooms clean, tidy and very specious. I would recommend booking a fallsview room- it is unbelievable. The hotel offers good deals on certain tours and it is very close to the casino- so if you are looking for fast food. The rooms dont come with a safe deposit box, but there is a small room with safe deposit box’s that all hotel guests can use. Staff are willing to go the extra mile to help out. The only negative was that hotel guests still have to pay to use the spa facilities, but aside from that I had a lovely stay and I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family!…
Exceptional customer service, from reservation to checkout. Beautiful, clean, modern hotel with full service spa, pool, comfortable rooms, and the most spectacular views of the falls available anywhere. Sunrise was incredible. Parking was reasonable in comparison to nearby locations. Valet was quick to bring us our car when we departed. Overall a fantastic mini-vaca from a short distance over the border.
The view from our room was amazing! perfect views of Horseshoe and American Falls! property was immaculate! Excellent room service! Have dinner in your room overlooking the falls in privacy! Pay the extra for valet parking! We were there around Sept 18 and it was still very crowded! It’s one of those places you have to see at least once in your life! This property is on the end of the falls and makes it more secluded from the craziness at the other end!
I rarely make negative reviews but being a senior traveler, I rely a lot on reviews that I read and wish to be honest with this review. Yes this hotel has great views and is within walking distance of the falls and restaurants. The housekeeping lady from our floor (21st floor) was a sweetheart (I should have asked for her name) because when I was told that there were no clean face cloths in the hotel, she was able to find a couple in the afternoon and left them on our door knob. It may sound strange to you but I was not about to wash myself with the big towels in the room. We had a partial view of the falls but that's ok because I had reserved the CAA no view room. Hallways were quiet but I do not think we had neighbors. Elevators are quite fast. Now... because we had not slept in two days, we decided to go back home one nigh earlier. When I advised the front desk of our early departure, the young lady took my room number and she never advised me that they would still charge me for the room, the service fee for visitors and the municipal accommodation tax! This surprise bill was for $441.89 for one night! We received it by e-mail when we were long gone from Niagara Falls! Oh boy! That is quite a negative surprise especially that like everyone, we wanted to encourage the Ontario accomodations and tourism. Sorry but we will go back to Niagara Falls! If you do not wish to be surprised, please read carefully the fine prints when you reserve. After a few calls and e-mails with the hotel, I was not able to get reimbursed (except for $54,06 for amenity fee charges) but it is sadly my lost. Maybe if you read my review, you will be able to save money by making sure that you are not penalized should you have to leave earlier. I am sure that they were able to give our room to another guest as it is always busy. I have never had that negative experience with other Marriott who treat you as guests and not customers. Charged us $15.95 plus HST per day for Wi-Fi (which is usually free to guests), a bottle of water, a coupon for beer, wine tasting in Clifton Hill and a wego pass... but we do not drink alcohol nor did we take the bus. Overall, yes this hotel is situated near the falls, the elevators are fast, the room was quiet and the housekeeping went out of her way to help. Please read carefully the small prints when you book your rooms and carefully check your invoice when you receive it.…
Beautiful hotel. Best location in Niagara Falls ! Valet workers are friendly & helpful with many suggestions for places to go, things to do aside from the obvious. Restaurant servers are top notch. On property dining is adequate. *Very long line to check in with only 2 employees out front. I had checked in using the app to expedite but apparently this property does not participate in online check-in ! *No concierge. *Tour desk not staffed every day and only from 10 until 5...tours begin at 10 so there's no way to book for same day. *We experienced an issue with the phone in our room and had to make 3 trips to the front desk to get anyone to address the issue. When the telephone situation could not be rectified I requested a room change. Was offered a lower floor room...ah, No. Manager would not come out to speak with me. We were finally moved to a room on the same floor. *Amenity package handed to us at check-in consisted of a pamphlet with coupons for a free wine or beer at 3 locations along with a coupon for a WeGo Pass. No explanation as to what WeGo is. The on day 3 the valet recommended WeGo transportation. Redeeming that coupon at the front desk was like pulling teeth. ***NO HOUSEKEEPING during your stay, even though when making reservation we chose to have housekeeping. What happened to Marriott's 'Commitment to Clean' ? *Paying Marriott prices one expects housekeeping, an efficient, friendly front desk, repairs/issues addressed with first request, a concierge ! *This property is overpriced and not up to Marriott standards. The owner knows he has the best view in the city and doesn't have to provide anything else. *Why Marriott allows their brand to be tarnished by franchisees charging Marriott prices with Motel 6 level service is ludicrous.…
This is THE place to stay to visit Niagara Falls. Sit in your room and watch the falls! The illumination every night is beautiful and there are fireworks nightly at 10 pm you can see from rooms. Convenient to walk to many attractions and restaurants.
We had a room on the 22nd Floor overlooking the falls, we had the best views and spent every afternoon just looking out our window, it was beautiful. A special mention to Damini at the front desk, she went out of her way to help us with transport and gave some great suggestions for meal options and things to see and do. The staff overall were really friendly and helpful, we were really pleased with our stay.
We arrived on a Saturday at the Check in time. Busy but parking and desk staff were amazing and lines moved quickly. Room on 19th floor was absolutely spectacular! View was breathtaking and so quiet. The most quiet room we have ever stayed in. Hotel is updated, clean, quiet and everything we needed within walking distance. The hotel offers free WEGo passes, bus passes, valuable perk!!! No need to drive anywhere.
Great stay at the Marriott Falls View- this is the only place we would ever stay if at Niagara. We got to the hotel 2+ hours before check in and they had a room for us. Valets and porters were wonderful. We loved having a full Starbucks in the lobby and through the walking bridge in the back, quick access to the Incline and walking path that leads past the casino all the way to Clifton Hill. However- our room had not been vacuumed before our check in, one of the side windows was not see through due to damage repairs. All in all a great stay and incredible views of both falls.
