We loved the stay at this hotel. The room was clean and in good shape. The beds were pretty comfortable and we appreciated the pillows. The air worked very well thankfully! Loved having the options of indoor and outdoor pools. It was very hot and humid during our stay so the outdoor pool was amazing and I really enjoyed the garden areas surrounding it! Great location, less than 5 mins for my 12 yr old son and I to walk down to the falls to see the fireworks, beware of the uphill walk back though lol. Free parking was amazing, especially in this area! Will definitely stay here again!!

This would’ve been a 5-star review. The hotel is at a very good location. It’s close to everything. You could tell it’s an old building but the decor in the room is modern. Staffs are polite. Parking is free which is rare. It has an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. It’s relatively clean. Beds are comfortable. The Coco’s Restaurant at the hotel is excellent. Breakfast is included. Live music at night. Very good atmosphere. However, I really question the housekeeping staffs’ integrity. We bought 2 plastic bags full of snacks and was going to bring back to the US. We put them in one of the drawers but we forgot to take them when we checked out. We called back at 9pm on day of checking out and was told all housekeeping staffs had left and no one turned in anything. They would ask housekeeping again the next morning. I called back next morning and was quickly told that housekeeping “did not find anything”. We had a friend who was still in the area. She could’ve picked them up for us. I found that hard to believe. It is not a small item that we had left behind. It’s 2 plastic bags full of unopened chips and chocolate etc. How could one not see them? I could only think of couple of scenarios. -Housekeeping found them and threw them into the trash or keep them for themselves. -Housekeeping didn’t go over the drawer when they clean the room after we had checked out. I wonder if the person who took my call did even ask housekeeping about my item. She was so certain that she didn’t even put me on hold and just tell me they didn’t find anything. Also, we stayed for 2 nights. Our room was not cleaned the first morning. I finally requested service at 4pm. The reason they gave me was that housekeeping saw a door tag on the door. I put the “clean the room” side facing outside. And they told me housekeeping wouldn’t clean the room if there’s any tag on the door. Don’t know why they use drop ceiling in the bathroom. It collects moisture and gives out a musty odor. It was ultimately our fault for forgetting our stuff. We probably should not blame the hotel. But still I think the hotel could have done more. It could have been an excellent stay but I could no longer trust the housekeeping staff at this hotel.

I was worried the hotel would be less then I was thinking but this hotel was perfect! The staff was all friendly. The room was clean and so was everything around the hotel. Anything we needed, they had. The location was perfect too. Just a little walk down the street for us to see the falls. It was also a great location for many dining options!

Wonderful stay Checkin was fast and we were in our room with in a few minutes Room was clean and had all the touches of home. Plenty of space to move around as well to store our bathroom necessities on the large counter. We were not concerned of view as we only used room to clean up and sleep as we spent our time taking in the sights and sounds of Niagara Falls and Clifton Hills that is all within walking distance. Parking is at rear of hotel and easily accessible to roll luggage to/from your room. Felt safe at night walking as we did coming from Clifton Hills, lots of families were out and about late at night. Checkout was also quick and easy as we expected from the wonderful Holiday Inn brand that we have booked previously at other locations.

There are some decent hotels in the area and I made the mistake of booking here. The hotel staff needs serious hospitality training and I would not recommend staying here. If you are an IHG elite member do not expect the hotel to accommodate any benefits.

A reservation was made for a specific room # more than 6 weeks before arrival. Arrived 25 mins before the 3pm checkin time of 3pm. Was informed by the lovely young lady with long black hair to come back in0 15mins. We went accross to the Casino to upgrade our cards. After waiting in the line to make it up to the the front after 45 mins to be told yet again our RESERVED ROOM #123 was still not available, Manger came out to speak to me and went himself to go to clean the room, and I appreciate that. There were so many crowds as you can see who where also getting frustrated. We were offered a free trip up to the Skylon tower for our troubles with check inn. As well the young OVERWORKED young lady was, she was very Professional. Sad that the lack of interested motivated people were what caused LONG WAIT TIMES. I hope that Niagara Parks will take this into conversion. The bed was LOVELY!!! no problem getting comfortable. Outdoor pool was not too busy, indoor pool did have kids enjoying as it was warmer in there than the outdoor pool. Very convenient to the Falls and the Casino, and FREE parking. Don't expect FIRSTCLASS, but the Holiday Inn Murray St Niagara Falls will suit your purpose. We recieved a completory free pass to go the Skylon Town, worth $20.00 Canadian each. Def would have NOT payed that for what we did.

We stayed Monday to Friday and housekeeping came only once! The one time they did come they didn’t pull my door shut tight so it didn’t lock. When I enquired at the desk “they are short staffed”. Then they charged me a resort fee on the way out. I wouldn’t call this a resort. The pool loses sunlight by 6 pm. I had to have my room key recoded every day as it kept demagnetizing. Super frustrating. Great location close to attractions but very noisy. Coco’s restaurant had great food. The staff was friendly.

This is our third stay at this hotel. The other times we had purchased the Getaway Package packages and were extremely happy with our visit. Although during Covid they said they were short staffed and when there were not enough towels in our room, they did send someone up to the room with extra towels. This trip..not impressed at all. There was one towel, hand towel and a facecloth for a room booked for three adults. ..yes, we paid for a third occupant,,,,,they did bring two more towels, but no facecloths. Not sure the room was cleaned properly. When I pulled the menu out of the drawer, it had crumbs or something scattered in it. I hope it was JUST crumbs. The toilet seat was a cheap seat and had come loose,,it was sideways on the bowl. We tried to tighten but the bolt was stripped and the seat was wobbly. I’d spilled some water on the floor and when I wiped it up with toilet paper,,the floor, which “looks” clean,,,was filthy,,the paper I used was black with dirt. the pop machine on the fourth floor was not working. The ice machine didn’t have any ice… we were told we could get some from another floor. The restaurant, which during Covid was amazing, was by far the worst food I’ve had here. Baked potato was old. Chicken was burnt and dried out, and the side ribs, had a ketchup sauce,,not tangy or tasty at all. The beef ribs were okay but fatty. The pork chop dinner was okay but the baked potato was also old, or reheated a few too many times. I had booked online through Holiday Inn. I specified three (3) adults, paid extra for the breakfast, and a third person…BUT in the smaller print.. it states breakfast for 2 people….I should have not mentioned we had my sister with us, saved the extra charge, and paid for her breakfast from that! Cleaning ethics need to be addressed. Although this is a low rated hotel, with our previous stays we were able to take advantage of their package stay with the Skylon Tower,,,the only other redeeming quality of this hotel. Their waitress at Coco’s is wonderful at breakfast, Alexandria. A very disappointing stay. We had planned to stay two nights, but changed our mind, and moved to another hotel. We did try to talk to front desk, but just said we should check our reservations as we had booked on line.

This package is wonderful! We stayed in June 2022 for our 35th Anniversary. Breakfast is cooked to order, bacon a little too crisp, and I like it that way but otherwise perfect. The sausage was also very good. Dinner at Coco's was a bit skimpy and the coffee was cold. Dinner at the Skylon though was the best- can't beat the view. Takes an hour to go 360° and the service was exceptional. The receipt you get at check- in has your menu choices listed so you get time to think about what you want. The hotel was great with an indoor pool, sauna and hot tub as well as a heated outdoor pool! The room itself had wood floor, not carpet and the beds and shower were clean and comfy. The casino is just across the street and Margaritaville is right next door with takeout margaritas and beer. A quick walk downhill on Murray Street and you are at the Falls. The Skylon Tower is adjacent and Clifton Hill is a 10-minute walk so we parked the car for our entire stay. All in all, a great place to stay and I definitely recommend it to everyone.
