Staff was very helpful and they quickly provided me with extra toiletries and comforters when i needed them. The photos they present do not show what you get. They insist on getting their money first, because they know you would leave if they didn't I was surprised about all the negative reviews.all are certainly true Not recomended

I don't take lightly to leaving poor reviews, in fact, I would normally rather leave none. On this occasion I'm still just so disappointed and would like to give someone the chance to avoid these apartments if they can. I emailed the management of these apartments the day after we checked in to address issues (we stayed over a public holiday weekend and have yet to receive a response. I emailed on 15th Feb and it is now 29th Feb. I'm going to copy and paste the issues I raised in my email: Since check-in yesterday evening (which was a good experience, the staff in Unit 108 are great!), we have encountered the following: _____________________________________________________ 1) Apartment is absolutely NOTHING like the furnishings shown on your website - we have an uncomfortable suite of furniture, shabby and the kitchen is damaged and worn. 2) We found our 4 year old attempting to get out on to the balcony - were you aware that the lock on the balcony door is broken? We have pulled the small sofa-bed type thing across the window for now. This is crazy and extremely unsafe. The balcony is also covered in bird faeces - unclean!! 3) Kitchen supplies - for an apartment of 6, there is only 1 glass, and 3 bowls! There is no tea towel, or nothing to dry dishes with. Cutlery is sparse, old and worn, and the can opener doesn't work. 4) No plugs/stoppers in either bath - I chose this as we are travelling with a child. Only one of the shower heads works (and is poor, at best) Also, there is blue electrical tape holding the bottom on one of the bathroom wash-units. 5) The swimming pool - you advertise an indoor swimming pool as part of the facilities, but fail to mention that we have to pay for it - entirely unacceptable, false advertising. 6) Our key fob to get into the building didn't work when we arrived which we only discovered when my husband nearly got locked out, in the basement carpark (the onsite team had this sorted within minutes, thankfully) 7) Also, the main lift lobbies on EVERY level are essentially building sites as they are being renovated - we were not informed that there would be tradespeople, noise etc. 8) The apartment deposit was charged to my credit card without my authorisation or knowledge - I would have been more than happy to provide it had I known but it's completely unacceptable to charge without authorisation and I will be in touch with VISA re same when I return to Ireland as I hadn't authorised that amount to be debited - I understand that it will be returned once the apartment has been checked, but it is the principle. Many hotels and apartments take an authorisation of the amount without putting the charge through as standard practice. This apartment is advertised as Executive, but to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure that I could describe it as anything other than functional. My family and I have been travelling around Ontario for 1 month now, and have stayed in a variety of different locations. We travel home on Monday 17th Feb. I booked Pelican Stay as it looked to be exactly what we needed to finish our holiday - a comfortable, semi-luxurious space where we could relax together as a family before travelling back to Ireland. I'm so disappointed. This is the most expensive accommodation (per night) that we have stayed in so far, with the worst standard - I don't understand it. Add to that that we have been staying in more luxurious AirBnB facilities run by private families and it just doesn't add up. ____________________________________ Perhaps other buildings/apartments are in better condition and you may be one of the lucky ones who gets one of those, but make sure you do your homework before you book. We stayed in Phase 2, in PH28. I'm not normally so horrendously negative (my other reviews are normally very pleasant!! haha!!), and part of me feels awful for having to write this one but it was awful. If you love getting up close and personal with pigeons, you will LOVE this apartment.

Attention We were kicked out of the apartment after 3 of our 6-day stay under the false pretext of noise pollution. By mail!!!! we were told to leave the apartment within 1 hour under threat of immediate intervention of the police. We could not be offered a replacement apartment, nor have we received any money back. Your deposit was also taken! The real reason became clear to us after we talked to the building manager of the apartment house (which was strongly advised against by Pelican). The company Pelican rents long-term apartments in the building complex (here a minimum rental period of 30 days and more is required) and then rents them in a not allowed way via booking. Ppl In summary, I can only urgently advise against this company if you don't want to be suddenly put on the street like we are!
