This bed and breakfast is a hidden treasure in Kingston! I stay with a friend of mine for 2 nights . Lettie is the most friendly host, along with her husband Denis. The breakfast was exquisite: omelets, coffee, pastries and a fruit bowl. her home is very comfortable and the rooms were immaculate. we only had to head down King Street and were back downtown at the ferry in no time flat. We had access to a kitchenette, and use of the fridge to store our food for the boat trip the next day. I highly recommend a stay here. Quiet, in a beautiful home, lovely neighbourhood and lots of privacy. Thank you Lettie . Our pleasure to meet you and I will do this again. Joanne W. This was the perfect way to forget about Covid for a weekend
Nice room on the main floor right next to the Kitchen ... great location on the west end of Kingston ... walk to the water ... bus service and drive to downtown in 5 minutes ... if you want access to all things Kingston without the big $$$ ... check de Haans ... excellent
Nice home located on King Street West near Portsmouth historic village. Copious breakfasts served by a friendly multilingual couple. Easy driving & public transit access to downtown & major tourist sites.
We stayed here on the Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed our stay! Lettie and Denis are great hosts. We stayed downstairs in the room with ensuite. The family room with TV was appreciated. The location of this B&B is ideal because it is close to waterfront trails as well as the Cataraqui Trail, so is great for long walks. Also is is just a short drive to downtown action! Breakfast was delicious and it was fun to meet international guests. We were visiting family and would definitely love to return again!
About 5 minutes drive from the center, the home is entered from the rear as the address is on the main road. It is right across the street from from Lake Ontario and next to the Rideau trail head for pleasant walks. Our room on the first floor was clean and comfortable with the bathroom across the hall. The television reception was a bit grainy but more than adequate to enjoy watching a post season baseball game. Breakfast was a delight with fresh fruit, a perfectly prepared omelet and good conversation.
