We stayed here for two nights while sightseeing in the area. We opted for the suite so we could make our own breakfast and dinners. Upon arrival I you notice the mess of the lobby with clutter everywhere. Initial inspection of the room while having a mask on seemed ok. Returning to the room we noticed a stale musty smell. Although the website stated it is a fully equipped kitchen, it was not. Dishes included were 1 plate, 1 fork, 3 mugs, and a very dirty pizza pan. We were lucky that we had our own. Also not included in the room was a hair dryer, a well lit desk, or any kind of desk, clock radio or iron. The table we ate at had only one chair. There was a sofa, but it faced the kitchen, not the television. It was dirty. There are no covid procedures in place here. We shared an entrance with another suite. The counter top, stove top, microwave and fridge all had dirty surfaces. I cleaned all of these myself. The tub had been cleaned out but had clumped up toilet paper or paper towel remaining in it. The bed had seen better days as it was probably a 40 year old matress. There is mold growing in the bathroom. This unit sits about 10 feet from the road and this is all you can hear. The train is about 50 feet away and goes by several times throughout the night with horns blasting. We did endure our stay, mostly due to the fact that we booked without reading reviews. Was this worth the 280 bux we spent on 2 nights? Not a chance. Stay somewhere else. For the little bit of water that you do see from a few select views this place is not worth it. Whoever owns this property needs to spend a night in each of these rooms to see the problems firsthand. If we were utterly disgusted with this place, they should be as well.

We reserved the suite, not at all like the pictures. Different furniture, missing chairs and kitchen equipment. We asked for a room change and got the other suite, barely better. There is stuff lying around all over the lobby and balconies. The suites are a throwback to 1960. Very disappointed.

Owners changed rooms for us to so we could have a lake view with no extra cost. The Bayside Inn & Waterfront Suites was very helpful in cancelations and worked with us to make sure I time spent was enjoyable.

After I booked the place I realized that it was far from the location we wanted to visit so I called up the hotel and ask them if they can give me a refund as I made a mistake. Mr. Rehman was so sweet and agreed to give us a refund but than we decided to go ahead as it was about 20 mins drive from Where we wanted to visit. We got to the hotel and found out there was no breakfast due to covid. At first I was disappointed but than I understood the reasoning. I spoke to Mr Rehman about getting extra blankets and we got them right away. Though the place needs renovations, the hospitality of the owners and their helpfulness out beats all those things. The morning time Me Rehman surprised us with breakfast made (although it was cancelled due to covid). He went out of his way to keep us satisfied and happy. One of the best experiences.

The view from the deck is beautiful and relaxing. There is so much potential here but the rooms are beyond nasty. U can't take your shoes off, the carpet is so bad with stains everywhere. Thorough cleaning doesn't happen as there is a build up of dirty and grime in every corner and surface. This surprised me as Covid is in full bloom now. We went out and bought lysol to wipe everything down. The owners just need to spend the time and money to renovate the rooms. We spent most of our time outside anyways as it was a beautiful weekend. I wish them much luck as there is incredible potential but it is not a place I will recommend.
