The room was as I expected. Nice with air conditioning and a private bath. The staff is nice and helpful. I was with Habitat For Humanity and the Hotel was well prepared for us. There is food and a bar on the upper floor of the hotel and a clothing store on the first floor.

We stayed at Hotel El Libano during our trip to San Juan de la Maguana for Habitat for Humanity in June 2016. Bottom line: you'll be fine. There is good air conditioning you can adjust in the room. I am an absolute expert in finding bugs and I only saw one (and I think I may have been the one...

I've stayed twice at this location with a group of about 15 for about 5 nights each time. Both times we had a similar experience. Restaurant/bar/entertainment area upstairs was a great feature and the views are something I'll never forget eating breakfast to every morning. It's not fancy (basic rooms) but it does its job and it's close to many...

This hotel is dated and needs fixing. It is good value for the price for a night out two. The lobby looks nice and that is where you can get limited WiFi depending on where you sit in the lobby. The rooms are very, very basic. Light bulbs not replaced. The chair in my room was a plastic patio chair....

My wife and I were on a business trip and we had heard the hotel Maguana was a bit noisy at night because of the young people from town who gather in the park in front until late night. So we decided to try the Libano hotel and arrived around 8:00 pm without a reservation and the only thing they...

Good value away from loud music. Double room $40 US. Wifi worked. Beds fine. The bar upstairs closes early. Nice sitting area in lobby for relaxing. Cold water coolers in hall. Near the catholic cathedral and park. Easy walk from Carib bus stop.

I've stayed here several times over the last fews years and have always found it to be clean and the owners are trying to improve the hotel all the time.Granted its not a resort and not quite what we might expect in America. That said I brought a group of 20 including wife and daughter and everything was good. The roof top...

We had a group of 11 here for a week in Dec 2012 and found the hotel to be clean, with a good supply of hot water, decent food, nice cold beer and friendly enough staff. Fantastic panoramic view from three sides of the top floor restaurant and a seating area on the adjacent roof. No trouble with the plumbing...

In an attempt to write a well-rounded review, I will begin with the good. GOOD The hotel is located in the center of the main part of town and is near a few restaurants and a Bon heladeria. There is a small local gym as well as a few playing fields near by. There is wi-fi that only reaches only...

Center city old San Juan is not so picturesque, and the hotel truly reflects this sentiment. Old, dated, dirty, and major issue with sewage. Shower when scheduled or else tomorrow... don't flush when told not to or else... Now I would have given the hotel a terrible rating, but when there is nothing else, what am I to say? Maybe...
