Warm welcome from Liz upon arrival. Inviting, artfully decorated home. Peaceful setting with a lovely view of the Arm from the deck. Comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom. Delicious breakfast. At the Pebble you can find the rest that comes from beautiful and comfortable spaces and the attention of a wonderful host. Highly recommended. We plan to return in the near future for a longer stay.

The Pebble Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located in a pleasant neighbourhood not far from the centre of Halifax. The rooms are light, clean, modern and spacious with upmarket toiletries. Liz was a very engaging host who has mastered the knack of making guests feel welcome, providing tasty homemade scones and tea on arrival. This is most welcome after a day's journey. Liz was very eager to please and make one's visit a pleasure, and provided lots of local advice and maps to facilitate this. Her steel cut oats were delicious...a great fortifying breakfast for the day's adventures! We have pleasure in recommending this accommodation for a stay in Halifax.Thank you Liz!

Staying at The Pebble was such a beautiful and gracious introduction to Halifax. Liz is a hostess extraordinaire....charming, fun, and attentive to every detail. The rooms are elegant and very comfortable. The setting, right near the water, is lovely - serene and quiet. Each morning we were treated to a gourmet breakfast in the sweet dining room. I wish we could spend every anniversary here!

The house is located near the water- I could see the sun reflecting off the water from my bed- and so quiet! Our flight was delayed and my suitcase lost. When we called Liz to let her know we were delayed she was quick to reassure, had a toothbrush and a light supper for us. The Pebble will not allow you to go to bed hungry! Easy to book directly- give The Pebble a call. We will be back!

Loved this B & B. It is so beautiful and Liz the host/owner is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable/ large and well equipped. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. Will definitely come back and I will be recommending it to all of my friends/family.

Staying at The Pebble was a wonderful experience from our personal welcome by Liz with tea and home made scones and jam to our specific driving directions on departure. The B&B is in a great location with a lovely grassy area overlooking the water. We stayed in a new room on the top floor with a beautiful new bathroom. The decor throughout the house is impeccable reflecting Liz's personal touch and hard work. Will definitely return again.

Richard and I traveled the length of Nova Scotia, from Yarmouth to Cape Breton. Our last few days were in Halifax. The best was saved for last, and that would be The Pebble B&B. A beautiful home, in a quiet neighborhood reminiscent of old Pasadena, in a convenient location to downtown and the Bay. We were welcomed with fresh baked scones, wild blueberry compote and a pot of Irish Tea, by the owner. After our 4 hour drive from Cape Breton, we loved the TLC. (Take Note: This is Danny Meyer style Hospitality, 101.) Our bags went up to the room, where we had a gorgeous bathroom, Frette' towels, Molton Brown Toiletries and beautiful rain shower head. My husband and I decided to travel to Halifax for our 27th wedding anniversary. I wanted to go somewhere by the water to enjoy beauty and tranquility. The pebble is by the water and the scenery is gorgeous!! The rooms are beautiful - the whole house is something from a storybook. I came across the Pebble and saw the pictures of the rooms. Not only were they large but also looked beautifully appointed with attention to detail - the placing of tables, bed linens and toiletries. The rooms also appeared to have many windows and lots of sun and charm. I made my reservation directly with Elizabeth and I'm glad I did. We spoke about the rooms, what to see and do in Halifax.
