I had the most magical stay at the Pebble B&B with my sisters. Liz has created such a warm and welcoming space, it really feels like staying with family. The house is and gardens are beautiful and the decor and furnishing are so tasteful, not to mention you're steps away from the ocean arm. Our room was very cozy with fresh towels and sheets daily. The breakfasts were also superb. Every day we had 2 homemade courses with special pebble blend coffee freshly brewed! The homemade scones and jam were particularly memorable. We loved our time here, it will be our new go-to whenever we're in Halifax. Thank you Liz!

I would not hesitate to recommend The Pebble to anyone. The location was close to the Harbourfront, the rooms are gorgeous and every little detail is well thought out. Liz is an amazing hostess and made us feel like we were visiting family. Pictures can be deceiving but in this case, the reality is so much better. Our only regret is only staying one night. The tub alone was worth every penny!!!

The pebble bed and breakfast truly felt like a second home!!!. It is the cutest house and the service is amazing!!!! It is also steps away for Halifax’s ocean arm. Langdon hall vibes!!! Loved every minute of my stay! Thank you liz !!

The Pebble B&B is a must-do experience in Halifax. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, Liz makes you feel at home like you are part of the family. The entire premises is impeccably spotless, and it feels like Liz's sole goal is to make your stay the best it can be. Liz embodies the true meaning of customer service and hospitality. It will be our new go-to whenever we are in Halifax.

Liz is most welcoming and warm host - we arrived late and she came out to our car and greeted us by name! Then she offered us cheese and crackers along with a glass of nice port. She has tremendous pride of ownership in ‘ The Pebble’ and it shows everywhere- the rooms are fabulously clean( a prerequisite for my wife) and comfortable, with no convenience overlooked- from the thick absorbent towels to the high end toiletries. Our 3 night stay was simply wonderful and a great start to our maritime vacation.

Our experience at The Pebble Bed and Breakfast was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, every little detail was taken care of. Impressive! From the soft sheets and duvets on the bed to the luxurious white towels in the bathroom. Owner Liz has a gift for perfection and she tries very hard to make sure your stay is an experience you will never forget. The level of luxury and detail are easily comparable to Relais and Chateaux Langdon Hall. The experience is complete with her carefully curated breakfast menu and presentation. You will be delighted. Her passion and dedication for all things beautiful is inspiring. Every bowl and every blown glass has a story or a name. Make sure you ask why she tried so hard to qualify for her first Boston Marathon at the age of 45!! …

We were unable to find a place to stay all night and the lady Elizabeth who works there was so kind to take us in on short notice. She made sure we were okay and had everything we needed, we had 6 people with us but the room only accommodated 3. She allowed us to sleep outside and was helpful in every aspect. The rooms were beautiful of course and in the morning she made us breakfast. I highly recommend staying there, it was an amazing experience!

This is a unique property you won’t want to leave. Liz makes her guests feel completely at home and every moment spent at The Pebble is a joy. Liz and David’s house is stunning and tastefully decorated, with perfectly designed spaces throughout. Rooms are large, with beautiful en-suites (The Pebble’s tub is magnificent to soak into after a day enjoying Halifax!), Molton Brown amenities are found in every room and perfectly folded, fresh Frette linens are aplenty. The guests’ lounge and outdoor spaces are as charming. The “pièce de résistance” has to be Liz’ home-cooked breakfasts every morning - she even made special dishes for me with no dairy or gluten to accommodate my dietary restrictions. We usually stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. In addition to the cleanliness and comfort of the place, you will not find such a good breakfast in any 5 star hotel. Fantastic way to start you day. If we return to Halifax, the Pebble is where we will stay. More importantly, the hosts, Liz and Dennis, make you feel like you are visiting old friends that you had not seen for years.
