We stayed at the Chateau Bedford twice during our visit to Halifax. The hotel is a standard travellers hotel without any outstanding features other than its location. Rooms were clean, reception was efficient and the included breakfast was exactly what one would expect with bacon, eggs, sausage, cereals and a selection of bread products and juices. Overall, a bit pricey... More

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights at the beginning of our 2 week Maritime Trip and 2 nights at the end. The rooms are a nice size; quiet; even the heat register was quiet; beds are very comfy; fridge; full breakfast with many options was amazing for a great start to our day. The pancake maker made delicious... More

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 days and we can't say enough about how well we were treated, this is including all the staff from the front line to the breakfast staff to the cleaning crew. The rooms were well supplied, the pool was nice, just a little on the cool side. The linens were great and everything... More

This hotel is part of the Comfort Inns chain but has a more modern chic look and feel. Rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds, larger washrooms, fridge, microwave, coffee-maker and comfortable chairs sitting area. It was quiet clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast was the normal you would expect. Restaurants and amenities nearby.

Lovely, clean, large room! Pool is nice, water quite cool. Good TV. Good recommendation from front desk for a delivery restaurant of Chinese food that arrived in less than 20 minutes! Breakfast very good - hot eggs, sausages, waffles and cold cereals, yogurt etc plus breads, muffins, bagels with plenty of choices of juice, milk, coffees. If there is a... More

The Chateau Bedford in Halifax was easily the best value of any motel we stayed in during our exploration of the Canadian Maritimes. I am frankly amazed at how little we paid for this stay, which even included complimentary breakfast. The Chateau Bedford is modern, amenities-rich, professionally staffed and very well maintained. The desk clerks were invariably cordial and helpful.... More

Stayed at this hotel for a week and had a great experience overall. I would definitely stay here again when I travel back to Halifax. I didn't eat the breakfast they served, so I can't comment there. The room was great, very comfortable and I really appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower - great way to start the... More

Very clean hotel friendly helpful staff and the comforts beds!!! Only downfall was there's no hot tub. Great location it's only a 15 min car ride to the cities waterfront and local shopping. We also loved having tim Hortons next door.
