The owners were nice and the room was clean, but I have never seen so much stuff in a room in my life! There was no room for a suitcase and you couldn't walk without running into something. Every inch of the room was filled, stuff all over the night stands, not an inch of walls without a picture. Be...

We were lucky to get a last minute reservation for two nights at The Breakers. Our hosts Betty and George could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They were quick with suggestions for meals, whale watches, driving tours and other highlights in the Digby area. Our room on the second floor was actually a three room suite which had...

Stayed here during a brief stop in Digby. The location of the home to the water and the downtown is excellent. The house is very nice and you can tell it's well cared for. The rooms are heavily decorated with antiques. For some previous posters they call the owners hoarders and I can see why some may see it that...

Our stay with Betty and George at the Breakers was memorable and delightful in every way. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and feel welcome. The location on the harbor was ideal and close to dinner spots in town. Their place is full of antiques and add to the charm of the home. Although we were...

The Breakers, a beautiful Victorian house from the 1850's, is perfectly situated facing the bay. The view from our rooms was amazing. The house is a very short walk into Digby, restaurants, shops and of course the bay.It is about a 5 minute ride to the ferry.George and Betty, the innkeepers, were so accommodating and willing to meet all of...

I am really glad I didn't read the reviews on this website before we booked, as I dont think we would have had the pleasure to stay with Betty and George. Although there is a lot of antiques dotted around the house, they add to the charm of the house, and I think from what Betty has said she had...

As the title says, we had a wonderful stay with George and Betty Cook at their historic property in Digby. They are wonderful hosts and the house is simply amazing. While our room (and house) was decorated in a Victorian style, our ensuite bath was beautiful and modern with all the necessities. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the company...
