The hosts, Mary Pat and Al, were extraordinarily gracious and helpful. They welcomed us as if we were old friends. They provided great suggestions for exploring the region and had menus of good eateries in town. Our room was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything a traveler might want. Our morning began with a fresh pot of coffee and...

We had only one night in Antigonish and are glad we found the Azelia Farmhouse B&B. The room was very comfortable, and the hosts could not have been more gracious. We enjoyed seeing the llama and alpacas who live there and a family of deer who were visitors. The breakfast was superb, with options from buckwheat pancakes to omelets, and...

Stayed with Mary Pat and Al at there wonderful B & B for 2 nights, 25/26 Aug. the house is so homely, the master bedroom with King size bed and very large ensuite was fantastic. Mary Pats breakfast was enough to feed 10 people never mind 1 person. Mary Pat would make you cups of Coffee or Tea when you...

We just love our stays with Al and Mary Pat. They are in this business because they enjoy meeting people and doing everything they can for their visitors. They keep immaculate, attractive rooms that are so comfortable and the visits with our hosts in the evening are one of the things we enjoy the most. Mary Pat's breakfasts are to...

We have learned to rely on reviews when selecting accommodations, and the Azelia Farmhouse proved this true! We arrived a but early (for us) -- had not had dinner yet, so unloaded and met the hosts Mary Pat and Al, and then chatted for a bit and then headed into Antigonish for dinner at a Bistro (Gabrieau's) at Mary Pat's...

We stayed here 3 nights during the Highland Games. The king size Azelia room & ensuite was immaculate. We were greeted each afternoon with home baking and tea or iced tea. Breakfasts are fresh fruit, home baking, omelets or bacon & eggs, Belgian waffles or pancakes. Mary Pat will cook gluten free if you let her know. There is also a...

Our one regret is that we didn't stay at Azelia Farmhouse B&B longer! That said, even after just one night, we left like old friends. Al & Mary Pat are wonderful, warm hosts...even though we arrived early, the kettle was popped on & fresh baked carrot cake served up immediately. Our room-the Azelia- was graciously appointed, with elegant furnishings &...

We spent 2 ngts here at this wonderful B&B. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and happy to share their time and local knowledge with us. The overall accommodation is excellent, the room was large and had everything we required. A lovely breeze kept the room cool on a sunny day. Breakfast was truly awesome, anything you want!
