What a treat! Arlene and Dan are very friendly and helpful. They spent a lot of time giving us tips and maps about attractions enjoyed by the locals. Their home is comfortable and the breakfasts of gourmet quality. We hope to return to Stella Rose.

My husband and I spent three nights at the Stella Rose. The owners were lovely, the room was comfortable and so new and clean! and the breakfasts were delicious and generous. It was a short walk into the downtown area as well as the Acadia University. We had a delightful stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

This lovely old house has been beautifully restored and tastefully decorated but it also has all the modern conveniences. It's one of the nicest B&Bs I've found and I've visited many. We stayed in the gorgeous Sunset Suite which has a cosy sitting room attached; next year we'll be back and are trying the Sunrise Terrace which has a balcony...

There are so many great things to say about the Stella Rose, where do we even start? It's a beautiful place with beautiful owners. Arlene and Dan are amazing hosts and truly meant for this. Their heritage home is so charming and warm. Spacious and sunny dining and sitting rooms and a great outdoor deck area with the perfect atmosphere...

Amazing breakfasts. Beautiful rooms. The owners were terrific. I'll be sending my parents their way when they visit. We were only there for one night but it was great. Perfect to walk to the university or downtown. And great location for visiting wine country.

The B&B owners are delightful! The rooms are updated and very clean. They went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay and provided great details on places to visit in the area. The breakfast was awesome - fresh and flavorful. You can tell that they enjoy their visitors!

We stayed in the Garden Studio cottage. The cottage had one Double Bed, one single bed, a sitting area and all the essentials. Nice and peaceful with a small outside patio. The larger patio, in the garden, at the main house was a wonderful, large area to sit and read, have a glass of wine etc. 5 minute walk to...

Although we only stayed one night on route back to Halifax for a flight, we found this B&B the most welcoming and hospitable of our east coast trip. Dan was very welcoming and accommodating and the room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Dan and his wife went out of their way to prepare a spectacular breakfast earlier than normal...

My husband and I along with our two young adult sons spent 3 nights at The Stella Rose. Most rooms in a B&B do not accommodate 4 adults. The Proprietors Arlene and Dan did accommodate us in a back cottage which is not normally rented out but is used in unusual circumstances. The cottage used to be a ballet studio....
