Our family adventure at Yellow Dog was truly an experience of a lifetime! The smiles never left our faces. The owner, Gord, and staff of fishing guides and chef make it a trip you must experience. The lodge is warm and welcoming, with all amenities. The food was top shelf and our 5 person cabin was toasty! The best of... More

This trip started out as a fishing trip with friends but ended up being a trip of a lifetime. From the lodge, their hospitality, the great meals, the sites being incredible, and of course the fishing which will never be surpassed. The Yellow Dog Lodge far exceeded by expectations.

What a great trip. The lodge, staff and amenities more than lived up to what was advertised. I went to YDL to fish with friends but honestly returned home rejuvenated from all the NWT lodge had to offer. The food was fantastic. Fishing for large Pike, Lake Trout and Grayling was a first for me and it lived up to... More

There is nothing like communing with nature to set your compass back on true course. Of course the delish shore lunch, catching a personal best and hanging out with family are pretty good side dishes too!

Cool review Rory. I am looking forward to 2016. Your sister is thinking of joining us in the fall with her husband. I am looking forward to taking them to Graham and Duncan lakes for fishing and shore lunch; and to get them to experience the Aurora from the hot tub. Maybe they will bring their drone to capture some... More

Thanks Joey. We had a fun time too. Danny's friends are always welcome. It was great to see you guys sitting on our dock catching some trout, laid back and enjoying the sunshine and each other's company. I saw the photos and videos. Nice job! Lots of big pike. Cheers More
