This B&B i.s very clean and modern yet has an old charm with all its furnishing. I would recommend this place. Kim our host was very helpful in recommending places to visit. My wife and I visited the surrounding areas of St. Johns while we used the Inn as a base.

Very centrally located B and B in a beautiful heritage home that has been tastefully renovated. We felt so at home in the building and were warmly welcomed by Kimberly at breakfast both mornings. Avoid the chain hotels, and stay here instead!

Beautifully redone historical building within walking distance of The Rooms Museum, the Basilica, George Street and Water Street restaurants and bars. Great hospitality and helpful advice from our hosts on places to visit, restaurants, etc. Each room has its own unique character. Front rooms have beautiful views of the harbour.

The inn has an excellent location, just a few blocks from the downtown area and even fewer to The Rooms Museum. I had the front room on the third floor with lovely views of the harbor. There was a "help yourself" breakfast of breads and cereal. The owner, Kim, was very helpful and accommodating. The whole house was very clean....

Booked for 3 nights, great location. The Rooms were really close as were many of the attractions downtown. Clean well appointed rooms, friendly hosts. The only thing that was off the mark was the breakfast that was served. Nice eggs, but 8 boxes of sugary cereal...

We stayed at the Balmoral for five days at the end of June. The location is excellent, we were able to see all of downtown on foot, without the need of driving. It is close by to all the major downtown attractions and within a walking distance of the store. The rooms are practically new, and very well appointed. Hosts...

The Balmoral Inn has a fantastic location and is elegantly appointed in both the common areas and the guest rooms, but we found it lacking some of the things that we typically enjoy in a B&B. First, our favorite B&B's have a host to welcome you and acquaint you with the property and its surroundings. Once we met Kim, she...

We stayed at Balmoral House for four nights in June and would certainly return again. Our bedroom was very spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfasts are continental style, though we loved the freshly boiled eggs that Kim made for us too, which set us up for the day ahead. Kim is a perfect host and made us feel very...

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights in St, John's and we were so lucky to have found Balmoral Inn. This was our first experience staying at a B&B and we were pleasantly surprised! Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious - as was the rest of the house. There was a good selection of cereal for breakfast...
