Janet and Garry made us very welcome during our short stay At Wit's Inn: their lovely house was warm, comfortable and full of local interest. Breakfasts were typically Canadian - plenty of fresh fruit, eggs and bacon and tea (kept warm in the biggest tea cosy we've ever seen!). Our room was comfortable and spacious, with lovely rugs on the...

Conveniently located, spacious room (two sitting areas, plus queen bed) & en suite and a different delicious breakfast each morning, At Wit's Inn is where it's at for me. Janet, always kind and helpful, catered to my 'no meat' requests each morning of our 3-night stay. The house is gorgeous and accommodates six guests, so it's a very comfortable, intimate...

Stayed 3 nights at Wit's Inn. Great hosts, delicious breakfasts, excellent service and accommodation. We had a beautiful room on the top floor which was a bit warm with the unusually hot weather while we were there, but our hostess, Janet, had fans running trying to keep us cool. Located on Gower Street, the Inn is within easy walking distance...

It was a delight to be in this charming Queen Ann house so centrally located. James was most helpful with our suitcases , arriving and leaving. We had the larger room on the first floor and was surprised at how quiet it was . The room is well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the company...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. When booking, the only room that was available was number 1 with two twin beds. We booked it anyway, and we are glad we did. We arrived very late at night and were greeted warmly by James. He showed us around and made us feel at home. He helped us with...

My husband and I stayed at this charming B & B for three nights while visiting St. John's and area. It was simply lovely!! Janet and James exuded such warmth and hospitality, making our stay really quite comfortable. They were also more than accommodating of dietary allergies for our breakfast. So appreciated!! Highly recommend At Wit's Inn!!!

At Wit's Inn was our first stop during a 17-day trip to Newfoundland and Labrador and a perfect destination to get our holiday off to a great start. We were a retired couple traveling with our two adult daughters. Room #1 with its two single beds was perfect for the girls and my husband and I appreciated the spaciousness of...

Only stayed one night, but it was a breath of fresh air after staying at the Delta for the previous two nights. Amazingly comfortable beds and a very nice host. No A/C, so it did get a bit hot at night, but there are fans in the rooms.

We stayed two nights At Wit's End, following one night at the Sheraton Hotel, which I admit was also very comfortable, with a piano you can play. You feel immediately at home. Both are at the same end of town, not that big a town, and very convenient to everything. Our first stop was the Terry Fox Memorial. Janet and...
