We were given what the owner/manager said was the quietest room in the house (presumably due to the fact that this room was at the back of the house and the other rooms faced onto the busy road at the front). However it was between the kitchen and the lounge where the owner/manager was entertaining some people who seemed to...

Beautiful historical B&B in the heart of downtown St. John's. Very clean and comfortable, beautifully preserved late 1800's home. Very gracious and friendly host and delicous full breakfasts. We enjoyed 2 nights in March of this year, walking distance to good restaurants on Duckworth and Water Streets and the Rooms. Easy driving to other parts of town.

This is a beautifully renovated home in the downtown core of St. John's. An easy walk to the downtown shops, pubs, and restaurants. Close to many attractions such as Signal Hill, the Rooms. The bedding is beautiful as is the living room and breakfast room. Your hostess Eileen is a cheerful lady with warm laugh. Breakfasts are generous and elegantly...

We booked three nights in July (tried for four but that didn't work with availability) at the Banberry House simply on the strength of TripAdvisor reviews. We've never been happier that these are available to us as travelers. Our experience at Banberry only reinforced my obsession with paying it forward -- late though this review may be. Our time at...

Highly recommend this charming B&B in St John's. The location is perfect as you can walk to the downtown restaurants and stores in 5-10 minutes. It is also walking distance to the Rooms and the Basilica. Parking is either in the driveway or across the street in reserved parking spaces. It is a beautiful old house with all the charm...

We stayed for four nights at this lovely B&B near downtown St. John's during an East Coast vacation. We arrived later than expected due to delays at the airport, but the owner had left us a package with our keys and parking pass. Parking is free at a small lot across the street by an ice cream store (worth a...

Beautiful home. Perfectly furnished, beautiful stained glass and spacious rooms. Breakfast to order was excellent and plentiful. Even got to try Caplin. Very convienient location to downtown with a short walk. Ten minute walk from 25 restaurants. Our host Eileen was warm, fun and on top of all areas of the facility. She has an infectious laugh and is an...

Stayed for three nights and enjoyed our stay. We were able to park in the driveway. Some guests had permits to park across the street. Wonderful breakfasts made to order by request. Free WiFi. Our only complaint was that the shower temperature was not constant - affected by water being run in other rooms. Historic home. Location was perfect -...

We stayed at Banberry house for four nights with friends, the location is perfect, large rooms, good amenities.Parking is across from the B&B the host will provide you the permit. Our room was number 4 overlooking the main road and did not bother us the traffic noise. The only issue we had, our bed was very soft and made noise...

Interesting old home, built in 1892 and retrofitted as a B and B. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Water Street was a short and colourful (albeit hilly) walk away and Signal Hill was a 8 K (return) run (on the trails). Overall: a pleasant and convenient pale to stay when exploring St. John's.
