Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The price was not the same has my reservation in july, but they change it, no problem.Very disapoiting on the cleaness of the room. The bed did not look clean , especialy the pillows. They had a bad smell.People were very loud until pass midnight on the first floor. The stairway going on the second floor was dirty. They should take off the carpet in the stair, not too clean. It really needs a lot of TLC, because it was years ago very beautiful and clean. We want be going there in the future. Also the outside does' not gave you a good impression .Beer cans on the ground and paper, the stairs could have been cleaner. It does not take very long to pick up and clean more. It's a shame to let a beautiful house like that go to wasted. There is a lack of management.

Host could clue in to french name of reservation ( and regular client). table of 5 placed in small room where live entertainer using PA system was way too loud for venue space ( he could have done well acoustic only). Food and service was decent. They did change our table between courses. Had more of a live tavern feel rather than a quiet place to have conversation with friends.

Rose and I booked Maison Tait House for a one night getaway dinner and they informed her that they had a dinner and stay package. The room was very nice, comfortable bed and lots of room. Dinner was fantastic and we also had a great waiter " Matt ". To top it off they had live music which was a real treat. We will definitely go back.

The house itself is lovely and appears to be clean and tidy. We were disappointed with the attitude and hospitality of the owners. Both owners were in a hurry to get us out of the bar area where we were having dinner. We were the only guests in the dining area and we felt we were keeping the owners from closing. It was only 7:30pm. They rushed us through dinner. We had to ask for salt and pepper, glass of water and butter. I asked for dessert and was told the kitchen was closed. Owners appear to be overworked and tired. No one is there in the morning. Breakfast is left in the fridge if you request it, with an additional charge.. The food was good but quantity small and expensive.

Charming Inn. Great woodworking throughout the place. Comfortable room and bed. We booked dinner at the Inn and were happy with our choice. Had escargot for appetizer and prime rib for dinner. I would recommend it. My wife has a salad for appetizer and fish for dinner.

Was really excited to go and was really disappointed. Started with a bad glass at wine that had turned. They were apologetic and replaced it. Then we had mussels. Everyone knows that every once and a while you get a bad one (although never happened in any of the other Canadian restaurants on our trip). There were way more than a handful of bad mussels. After sending back the wine, was nervous to also send back the mussels. Also the mussels didn’t come with bread. If you wanted any bread you had to pay $5 extra for 1/2 baguette. Then they did an wedge salad that was supposed to have a Boursin ranch dressing. It came with 3 chunks of cheese, no dressing. I asked for dressing and they told me that’s how they do it. I explained it was dry and not properly dressed and they brought me Caesar dressing. Not great. My husband liked the surf and turf, and the vegetables were really good. Very inconsistent meal and a bit pricey for the quality.

We visited Tait House twice during our honeymoon and they did not disappoint. From Lisa, the phenomenal Chef Gilles, to Manager Jessie and Natasha, the service was top notch!!! I strongly recommend you to go. The rooms were top quality and the food was sumptuous.

If you're staying in Shediac this is a decent choice. Breakfast wasn't included, it was about $5 per person for a continental breakfast. It's close to Jack's pizza among other things which is convenient.

We had a room with 2 double beds and the room was a bit tight, but it was fine as we were there mostly to sleep. The coffee in the room was $2 but we did not use them, had our own and the Keurig coffeemaker was actually quite good. The beds were comfortable. The secure Wifi is good, on the first day, the free one was weak, then on second day we found the password for the secure private one. There was a self serve continental breakfast included that was available in the fridge in the breakfast room. It consisted of fruit, muffin and there was bread for toasting and coffee and tea. Although not alot, it was enough to get you started for the day, and you could have it whenever it was convenient for you. We had dinner at the restaurant, it is nicely decorated, and the food was very good. I think if more attention is paid to the room amenities eg information in the room, some areas were a bit dusty, it would improve the experience.

We reviewed online first of course and expected a really nice, clean B&B. Well it definitely wasn't. I am attaching pictures below so you can see for yourself what the bed looked like when we arrived. The pillows were no more than 2 inches thick, some kind of foam, and they were all stained yellow with peoples body fluids. Just disgusting. We asked for other pillows but were told that they were in the basement and would smell moldy! The bedskirt was draping on the floor. The bed was so uncomfortable that neither of us barely slept. I am giving it a one star as I have to say that they have a nice dining room and small bar. We didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food, but the prices are very steep. Also, for the price of this room, they also charged $2 per coffee with not even real milk or cream, just packaged coffeemate. Also, there is a nice patio out front and we had our bottle of wine but she said we could not go out there with our wine to drink as we had to purchase it there. Ridiculous!! There was no breakfast included but she said we could purchase one for $5 each which would include a yogurt and don't know what else. It turns out that there were no cushions on the furniture anyway and it was an absolute gorgeous day out to sit with our glass of wine. .We also 'upgraded' for a better view but all we could see is a glimpse of the bay and the noisy road was directly in front. Very noisy, Very poorly run establishment We will never stay here again.
