Nothing but praise for this B&B. comfortable room & bed, free wifi & parking, 5min walk to centre of downtown, very helpful advise and recommendations for local area, great bacon & eggs breakfast with strawberry soup as a starter. Our room had a modern bathroom with hairdryer and room had cable tv, kettle & toaster. Very difficult to find any...

This is a lovely old townhouse very close to King Square and everything you'd want to see in Saint John. For instance, the nicely restored Imperial Theatre is about 5 minutes walk and the Jewish Museum is right behind the inn in an impressive sandstone mansion -- and both give free tours. Get a walking tour guide and enjoy this...

Because of the continuing rain we decided to stay at a B&B instead of camping. Came here because Mahogany Manor did not have vacancies and advised this one. Good location, large room, good shower, strange sheets/blankets (felt like fleece), helpful lady taking care of good breakfast with fresh fruit and everything.

My friends and I had a great stay with Terry and Mercer, who are fine hosts. We arrived on three motorcycles, and Mercer was very kind to offer us the use of his garage so we wouldn't have to schlep all our camping gear and other unnecessary luggage to our rooms. I was unnecessarily apprehensive about the neighborhood based on...

This was our second visit to this gracious, historic B&B. We stayed in "The Dining Room" on both visits, which is a below-ground-level suite of rooms, very private. A large, comfortable room with all amenities and a very nice private bathroom, plenty of hot water. The next morning we were served a full, hot breakfast, upstairs in the main part...

We stayed at A Tanner's Home Inn B&B last year around the same time of year. Our second stay was as good as the first stay. The innkeepers were helpful as always and made you feel right at home. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was excellent. In addition, the location is central to many attractions in Saint John...

My husband and I were nervous about the neighbourhood when we arrived at this B&B. That was soon forgotten as we met our hosts and settled into our lovely room. I remembered why I had booked ourselves to stay here. I was mezmerized looking at each and every decoration. What a labour of love it must be to keep everything...

We stayed one night as a stopover before reentering the states. Warm reception from Terry. We stayed in the "Dining Room" on the lower level. The room was spotless and extremely spacious. We were traveling with our 5 month old, 9 lb. puppy and Terry let him stay in the room (in his canvas travel crate) while we went to...

We arrived at A Tanner's Home Inn as an event honoring three Saint John citizens was winding down. This Victorian-style house, built in the late 1870s was a perfect venue for such an event. Our first impression was formed (somewhat negatively) by the surrounding area that A Tanner's Home Inn was located in. However, we also found that the location...

Terry and Mercer were fantastic hosts. The accomodations were very comfortable. We stayed in the dining room which was spacious. The added bonuses that were provided were the offer of the laundry facilities and the really unexpected art lesson inTerry's studio while we did our laundry. We were amazed by the level of hospitality that was provided.
