We had to do an emergency trip to get our daughter from university because they were all being evicted due to the covid virus. We were glad that they were open there were still breakfast options even if not hot breakfast during this time because of skeleton staff. Staff were absolutely amazing and even though this is a scary time to be in public, you would not know by their body language or verbally, they were very professional and made us feel at ease during a stressful time.

This location was very clean and the rooms where so spacious. Not to mention a wonderful price. The staff at this location where very respectful, kind and willing to answer any questions that we had. This location is also wonderful as it is very close to the highway and there was some places to shop close by as well and not to mention free parking!

Third year in a row to stay here during our family vacation and ear year we reaffirm what a smart location for us to base out of for our visit!! Hotel staff is always friendly and professional offering helpful tips when asked questions about the area. Pam the manager takes care of staff and guest like running a well run house. Common areas and rooms are always clean and staff quick to get any extra you might need.
Location couldn’t be better (or easier) for jumping on the highway or accessing the main secondary road to get downtown or to National or provincial parks. Close to beach and light hiking around the loop at Irving Nature Park. Easy walkable access to grocery (Sovey’s) & sundries (Dollarama) as well as some food with other food options nearby.
Will likely reserve soon and a year out to stay here again Aug 2023!!

I opted to pay more for a hotel that offers breakfast, however it’s the same thing every day and extremely cheep food, even the bread was terrible ONLY good thing at breakfast was coffee and yogurt even the cereal is labeled as a decent quality but it’s really super cheep and not to good. Lack of basic supply’s such as soap in bathroom, when I requested additional seemed like an issue, I also noted to desk how the outside security door for hotel does not close and anyone can gain access no concern what so ever if anything I felt like she blew me off. Overall terrible and also wanted to mention hotels will beat online offers from third parties as they pay commissions on top of the fee this hotel however made of difficult to get the online price and when they did so only matched it.. I recommend just book online and let the third party company make couple bucks it won’t save you a dime anyway, better yet I highly recommend book somewhere else.

My two kids and I had a suite on the 3rd floor. I was very disappointed to find that you could smoke in half the rooms on the 3rd floor!! I didn't know that this was still a thing in Canada!!! It was disgusting. You could smell the smoke in the stairwell and on the entire 3rd floor and it smelled as if someone had tried to mask it with something so it smelled of cigarettes and perfume. I was glad that I brought my kids' inhalers. We won't stay there again. The room was spacious and the breakfast was decent. The front desk staff were hot and cold.

This hotel is older but well maintained. Our room was clean and had standard amenities. The towels were think and soft. Our check in was quick. We got a room with an outside door which made loading and unloading quick and easy. Saint John was a very busy town and this location was perfect for enjoying Irving Nature park and the reversing falls area.

This is our 2nd time staying here. We always stay in a smoking room,which we love about the hotel. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is great. When we stayed in October we paid in cash along with the $150 deposit. This time there policy changed and they don't accept cash anymore and there deposit went up to $250. Pam at the front desk honored the $150 for us as the hotels website still stated the $150. Thanks for that! The only negative experience (only because I like my sleep) is we got a wake up call we didn't ask for. And with their new systems they thought maybe there was an issue with my debt card, but it was all sorted out with no problems. Check in and out was painless and super fast!! Other than your typical traffic the hotel is quiet. The location is great for us as we are not familiar with Saint John. It's right off the highway and has easy access to fast food, gas and even grocery stores. We will for sure be back again!!!

Arrived late after dinner. Checked in. Unpacked. Settled in.
Then problem with shower -- the drain is clogged.
Staff came quickly but could not fix it. The second person came, same outcome.
They said there was other room available for us to move to. We have already settled in the room. So I asked if we could just go and take shower and come back. No, they said they could only transfer us to the room, not allowing us just taking shower then. I asked why? They said they could not sell the room. I explained it seem to be at most the same work if we just take shower. They won't do it. So we had to repack and go to the other room.
I'd say they were unwilling to think from the customer's perspective. Won't recommend it.

Host of problems but in short, we specifically reserved a suite on the ground floor and was it was given away to someone attending a dog show for more money. We travel on motorcycles and want them outside our room with access for security reasons. This accusation I make was verified by TWO of the attendees of the show.

This property is well located near the Reversing Falls, five minute drive to downtown. Rooms would benefit from updating. Staff was efficient and friendly, breakfast was better than average, especially the breakfast sandwiches.

I apologize for the late response, I somehow missed this question. We do indeed have rooms that require very little walking. We also have rooms with outside access and a parking spot right outside your door!
There are more places to choose from in the Saint John area.
