we rented a room here it was beyond filthy! there was never any staff around for any help and when we finally did find someone she was pretty rude and not at all helpful. The camping itself looks ok with quite a bit of stuff to do but judging by how they keep their rooms I would be hesitant to... More

We stayed here end of June in our tent. I was a bit sceptical of staying in a private campground but this place really wowed me over. Weather was great for a few days and rained one day. The campground is quite large and well laid out. There are seasonal and daily camping spots available. Tent areas have smaller trees... More

It is very unfair on all the poor reviews on this site. We have camped for several years here and enjoyed every minute. So much so, we recently got a seasonal site. Most campgrounds are closed just after Labour Day, but the Duck continues to stay open till mid October, with the pools open till late September. I highly recommend... More

Had a lot of fun for the family. A lot of the activitys were for kids (movie nights, ice cream Sunday social etc). The facility's were clean and the staff was friendly. The only problem was all the standing water. There were tons of Mosquitos!

With more cleaning staff and some energy I think this could be a pretty good weekend spot. Did not see anything very clean. The rooms were grungy, the bathtub could have used a lot of scrubbing, the yard around the motel was littered in dog poop, and the pool area just needed a bit of loving care. One more suggestion... Our family has vacationed here for several years. Grandparents parents and grandchildren all get together here enjoy our family time holiday. Sheri and Dennis, the owners, and their staff really make our stay fantastic. Friendly and helpful, and always available if needed. I can't praise them enough. We stay in the motel rooms equipped with microwave full fridge, coffee maker... More

I've been reading some of the comments and some of the complaints are just ugh."valentines day in july." that's the fun of rubber ducky my kids love the ducky express and the pools are shallow for kids because it's a kid friendly campground. The staff always greet me with a smile and I will comeback everyday if I could.

I was disappointed as soon as we arrived at the dingy room, had to sweep the floor , upon arrival. It was so dark with only one window for the entire place and it is situated quite high. It had a definite smell of something that we could not figure out.Concerned with child with asthma with us. The pools are... More

Had a blast last sunny weekend in Sept/14. We picked a good time the weather was hot there & last night camped in a rainy tent. We watched Mud Bogging races, fireworks, and lucked out and saw northern lights in open area of campground. The children fed birds, did mini golf, took a ride on the ducky express around the... We stayed here mid-week in September. Because we needed to use the WiFi, they put us near the pool area. That was appreciated. The campground advertises that their pools and hot tub are open through the end of September. Being hot tub fans, we were excited to hear this. But upon using the hot tub, we were disappointed at the... More
