Clean. Extremely friendly, helpful staff. Convenient to convention centre through indoor skywalk. Only reason did not rate as excellent as room service menu could use more variety and perhaps some vegetarian options. Close to Museum of Human Rights and Winnipeg Art Gallery. (Possibly close to more but did not have time to look in to others.)

I’m here right now with many people for the national taekwondo competition from Friday to Monday. The hotel is pretty nice as well as the room that is very spacious. We love our room #330 that you can access to the pool right away. I went to the swimming pool with my 10 year old girl on the first night. We went there around 8:45 and didn’t notice there was a sign for adult only from 9-10. There was a staff was checking out the area and ask my kid to leave immediately even though the pool is empty that has NO ONE there at all. She can’t stay with me too. She was quiet and plays by herself and she didn’t even make a sound at all. YA THERE ARE NO ONE AT THE POOL BUT WE HAVE YO LEAVE BCOZ ITS ADULT ONLY. it is really WTF ~ Not really impressed with this hotel at all

This is a decent, though not spectacular, hotel. The main advantage is that it is connected to the convention centre. I had a bi-level suite which was nice, although the view was of a rooftop. However, the suite gave me lots of room to spread out. The bathroom was relatively spacious with lots of shelf space for toiletries, which is handy when staying over a few nights. I did find that the room remained dark even when all the lights were turned on. Something to be improved upon. Downtown Winnipeg leaves much to be desired but that is not the fault of the hotel by any means. Just watch out for the homeless folks if you decide to walk around.

Spent a few nights at the Delta Winnipeg. Central location and very friendly staff. Check-in was smooth. Club floor was good. I liked the security whereby you had to use your room key to access your floor. Had an issue with our room on the first morning as the shower did not drain. When we approached reception and informed them of our situation, they or I should say "Irene " went out of her way to remedy the situation. Much appreciated and hats off to Irene!

Well located property connected to the Skywalk in downtown. Great treatment of Platinum members with instant upgrade to Club Floor and a great lounge. Wifi works well. HVAC in room is a bit loud. Really appreciated the reception for those with status which included wine and a chance to meet the staff. Service was very good - much better than usual in Canada. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is clean and modern, and you can get to nearby spots without going outside through the tunnels. The beds are pretty firm, and the pillows are on the thin side, so if you prefer something softer, keep that in mind. The pool area is a nice touch. Both indoor and outdoor pools. The staff were exceptional! Very friendly!!! As soon as we got out of our Uber we were greeted with water bottles and no lineups. Would stay here again if we return to Winnipeg.

Solid Delta service and comfort. Check-in fast and efficient and standard Delta room comfort. Shower is good. The club lounge only does evening snacks Sunday to Thursdays, so if you are doing business on the weekend you have access to the lounge for breakfast and then minor snack and drinks. The Blaze lounge is OK, service is friendly and keen. If you enjoy craft draught beer, then maybe go somewhere else.

Delta Winnipeg exceeded all expectations! Right from check in we were pleased. The front desk staff did an excellent job of meeting all our room requests. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were great. The room and hotel itself are quite clean. We appreciate the added touches such as a fresh fruit plate waiting in our room upon arrival and heated tile floors in the bathroom! Our room was quiet (which was a big concern considering it's close proximity to the Canada Life Centre). We slept amazing all 4 nights of our stay! The indoor pool is great and a good size and seemed rarely used during our time here. The gym has the basics you'd need and 24 hour access is great. All staff was always friendly and very helpful! This is the only place we'd stay in Winnipeg. Highly recommend! Room for improvement: 1. The minibar mad a high pitched ringing sound (like tinnitus), but you couldn't hear it when the AC or heat was on. I'm sure they would have changed it out if we had requested 2. The Blaze restaurant in the hotel was priced a little high (to be expected in hotels). However, there's an excellent pub attached to the hotel (you don't even need to go outside), called Elephant and Castle. Great deals and delicious food. There's also a boston pizza across the street TIP: ask for a high floor facing away from the Canada Life Centre.

I had a three-night stay at the Delta Hotel. Check-in was uneventful. The room was as-expected, was quiet, slept well, and was clean. Water pressure in the bathroom was solid and everything worked. In the room the only item of note may have been the HVAC, which was quite loud and sounded about like a DC-9 during its takeoff roll. There is a small balcony, the main benefit of which being the ability to open the door and get some fresh air into the room. The common areas of the hotel were well-kept and functional. The lounge on the 12th floor was par for Marriott properties in North America, which is to say sub-par. The offerings were very basic and not very exciting, neither in the morning nor the evening and I had a peek at what there was but did not partake. On a bright note, the lounge is staffed and the attendants were very friendly and helpful, and, much appreciation for morning coffee, which I did enjoy. I had breakfast one morning in the on-site sit-down restaurant and I was quite pleased with the eggs/bacon/toast/potatoes, all cooked correctly. The location is right downtown, with the positives and negatives that offers. I was without a car and mostly walked places, which was not a problem. Ubers to/from the airport ran about $25 and short trips to sites a bit further afield—like the St. Boniface ruins, for example—were about $10. No complaints and I can recommend.

The Delta Hotel in downtown Winnipeg has many fine qualities. It’s kept very clean. The lobby and room furniture is comfortable and in good repair. The rooms are well laid out and the beds are comfortable. The linen and towels are very good. The meeting rooms are ample and flexible. The elevators and escalators were all working well during our stay. The access to the RBC Convention Center was convenient, and the Skyways to other buildings were appreciated on rainy days. I can’t think of any improvements to suggest, so top marks on all these factors. But, the component of the hotel that stands out most is the people. All who I interacted with were unusually helpful and unusually nice. From the front desk staff (top marks to Saira & Manpreet), to the housekeeping staff, all were unusually polite, positive, and helpful. Eateries in the area are plentiful. The attached parking is large and the access to the hotel is convenient. The ability to use ones phone as a key were appreciated. Hotel and room security is quite good. We stayed at several hotels during our trip, and this was our favorite. In short, if you’re staying in downtown Winnipeg, we recommend the Delta.
