The staff are some of the happiest humans on the planet. Professional, attentive…and extremely helpful. We needed help a couple of times…little things like opening our safe or a window or setting the temperature on the hot tub….someone was sent to our room immediately and showed us stuff worked. No problems. Coffee and filtered cold water in the lobby anytime Clean hotel. Perfect location.
We booked a suite at the Sundial with a private hot tub on the deck for my partners birthday and absolutely loved it. We were greeted at both the front door and reception with a warm welcome. Even though we were early for check in by the time we parked in the underground we were told our room was ready which was a great surprise. Our room was on the third floor and overlooked a plaza with a bit of a view of the ski hill. We had a private hot tub and loved it. Our suite had a fully stocked kitchen and a separate bedroom which sure made our stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. We had a few meals in as well as some great meals out. It was a very quiet and lovely stay. The hotel staff communicated via texts, which was great, and even let us borrow an adapter to run Netflix from our devices. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful getaway!…
This place is a PARADISE for mountain bikers. As with anything, its the people that truly make it an awesome place to stay. The staff here are incredible, but that does not overshadow the cleanliness, attention to detail (like selecting your pillows!) and the hospitality. BIKES This is a mountain bikers paradise! I stayed here for one week during Crankworx and if you're thinking about riding, bringing the family or just looking for a home away from home that doesn't hassle you about your bike this is the place! What makes it so special: - Bike repair station and wash in the basement, fully stoked with Peaty's products, rags, tools and knowledgeable staff who ride. - Very, very flexible front desk staff who watch over your bike in the lobby, supply you with rags for your chain - The BEST espresso machine right in the front desk areas - They take bike security seriously. No ticket, no bike, the bike stands ensure your bike does not get mishandled and the staff are available 24/7 to let you in at the ring of a bell! THE ROOMS - Full kitchen in your room - YUP, we cooked a 10lb chicken for the family and enjoyed the full size fridge and again..coffeee!!!! - The room comes stocked with some craft beer! How good! - A yoga mat is included in your room!!! AND MORE There is a full service and rental shop right in the lobby and the staff are super knowledgeable about other things to do and see. PRO TIP - The internet and desk setup in your room is awesome for work! - Get a room on the village side if you want to people watch and overlook the village. If you want a more private view and less ambient noise, get a room on the far side. - The booking slots of the hot tub are awesome - its your own private oasis, book a sunset time! - Valet your car - seriously..seriously, worth it! - Laundry takes coins, but simply see the front desk and they will add it to your stay because, who carries coins nowadays!? - Ask to pet "Happy", he's the unofficial dog mascot...bonus points if you get to!…
This was our third stay at the Sundial in the span of four weeks. Disappointed with the room. Bathtub wouldn't drain. Fan in the bedroom was rickety loud. The fitted sheet on the sofa bed didn't appear to have been changed out. Only drain issue was rectified. Personally asked housekeeping to change towels but ignored. First two stays were decent, but after this experience don't think we will go back.
The customer service went beyond anything I've experienced before. Staff made us feel very welcome and very supportive. We received a text as soon as we checked in so we knew that the staff was truly concerned about making sure we were settled in. The location was excellent for walking through the town - and close to coffee, late-night snacks, whatever we needed. We will be back!
Service was good if you asked for something. 4th Floor was very loud at night due to restaurants on 2nd floor blaring music till all hours. No electrical access for devices on 1 side of the bed. Very dated in that respect in the digital era. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful.
This hotel is brilliant, the staff are amazing. so so friendly and attentive. Jacob is just lovely and made us feel so welcome after a long journey. He organised a complimentary bottle of wine to be sent to our room. We stayed in a one bedroom valley view suite and it was so comfortable and spotless. The bed was massive and super comfy. The kitchen is well equipped to cook dinner. It has a great view over the gondola and Whistler Village. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the action. Thank you so much Sundial Hotel for a fantastic stay!
Our stay at Sundial Hotel in Whistler Village was fantastic. Our two-bedroom apartment was very comfortable and clean. We had great views of the mountains and enjoyed our balcony overlooking the Village. This hotel is very close to the gondolier and walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. The front desk staff, Lottie, Jacob and Robbie were very helpful and professional during our stay. Will certainly stay again and recommend it.
We went to whistler with our kids and my mother law. The stay at Sundial Hotel was incredible - the staff was extremely professional and focussed on providing an exceptional guest experience within their property, and it enhanced our vacation at Whistler. The property is well located with Whistler Village - very conveniently located restaurants and gondola.
Check in was easy and quick. Robbie was very helpful throughout our stay and was very kind to offer complimentary parking for not being able to arrange family rooms close together. The room is clean, has all the needed amenities, Nespresso machine, and a great location too. We wished there's a pool since it was a scorcher when we were there. We have stayed many times at Sundial and hopefully next time we get to stay at room 800 too!!! 😊
