When starting to research and attempt to make reservations for my trip to Whistler for the end of February 2019, I began to get overwhelmed quickly. I was going back and forth looking at multiple websites trying to find hotels, which sites had the best prices, the type of

This may not be ski in, ski out but slope side location is the only thing Summit Lodge lacks. Not to worry Pierre, their lovely driver, will whisk you to the slopes in no time. We never had to wait longer for a ride than 10 minutes and he always leapt out of the van to carry my

We stayed at the Summit Boutique for 10 days in February. Arrival & Location We flew from the UK in to Vancouver and took a private transfer up to Whistler. The journey time was around 2 hours outside of rush hour (took us 3 on the way back down). Check in was nice and quick.

D_DHolidayFeedback, Thank you so much for your detailed review and sharing your experience with us on Tripadvisor! Our entire team is thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time with us - a few stand out aspects being where we are situated, our complimentary shuttle (go Steve & Pierre go!), the complimentary coffee/hot chocolate machine in the lobby, spa area, snowshoe/sled rental, our friendly team and a variety of lobby apres offerings. We do our very best to maintain our rooms by freshening them up throughout the year but will absolutely have a look at your room specifically for the signs of wear and tear and get our maintenance team in there right away! I will absolutely pass on your comments regarding our housekeeping team and we will ensure they are all offering the top notch service we expect. If you would be so kind as to reach out with your room number, I'd love to personally attend to the room and have the room inspected thoroughly by all departments so that we can bring it up to snuff. I do hope you will choose us again for your next Whistler vacation! Please email or call us directly for the best returning guest rate. :-) Sincerely, Courtney E Sales & Operations Manager courtney@summitlodge.com 604-932-2778

The fridge and kitchen floor. This is AFTER the cleaning supervisor, Jessica, said that she would have it cleaned properly, or clean it herself, as I had shown her how filthy it all was. As a medical doctor, I do NOT expect an item in the kitchen and surrounding area, to carry the health risks associated with this degree of filth.

How much is parking please
Hello Michelle. Parking underneath Summit Lodge is C$ 21+ tax a day. We used this service and found it very convenient. During our winter stay we didn't use our car much but the thought of parking in the public parking blocks seemed too much effort with our winter luggage. During the summer our car was well used for hiking and sightseeing trips so to have the car so close at the start and end of each journey was great. The lift in the Lobby goes straight down to the parking garage of the hotel. Enjoy your stay.

Hi joannemorgan16, I'm so glad you asked this questions as Whistler is a fantastic time to bring your whole family in the Christmas and New Year Season. Historically, Whistler holds a family-friendly, alcohol-free and ticketed NYE event. There is also the daily Whistler Holiday Experience which is an indoor playground of fun games that runs over the Christmas period at the Whistler Conference Centre. Additionally, Whistler also holds Family Après daily which involves outdoor entertainment after skiing. Additionally, some of my other favourite recommendations for families also include the outdoor skating rink at the Olympic Plaza, grabbing some complementary sleds from our Front desk to tobogganing nearby. There's a great fondue and raclette place across the hotel called Crepe Montagne, which makes for a very fun meal. Please feel free to call or request a call from the hotel for more recommendations, we would love to know how we can make your vacation more wonderful. As well, because the Christmas and New Year season is very busy, we highly recommend making any special reservations now, as restaurants are already booking out for the season. Lorraine :)

Hi Karen! Depending on where you would like to be picked up, Epic Rides provides a shuttle from Downtown Vancouver to Whistler Gondola Exchange for $35 round trip. This is the most economical option and has no washroom, wi-fi, and luggage is stored on the trailer in the back, Pacific Coach provides pick-up from YVR and will drop you off outside the hotel for $123.00 a round trip. Pacific Coach provides a washroom, wi-fi and luggage is stored in its undercarriage. Ridebooker is another option for a similar rate and service to Pacific Coach. Hope that helps! Lorraine

Hi Sandy A, Although all rooms are thoroughly deep cleaned after they have pets in, if your sister has an adverse reaction to dogs and is highly sensitive, Summit Lodge may not be the best property for your family. If she is not highly sensitive, she might be okay. Although Summit aims to allocate all dogs onto the second floor, sometimes guests forget to mention that they're checking in with a dog. As well, there are dogs in the back office and they can be found in some of the pubilc spaces. I recommend looking at Blackcomb Lodge and maybe the Hilton as I believe they do not allow pets. I hope that helps! :)

Any charge for spa and massage? Is it free? If not, how much?
There was a charge for the spa and massage. We did not use this service. A reservation is recommended.
