First off, the owners Cecilia and Bing are very nice. This is why I'm conflicted but I also wish I knew a few things before booking my room.I have a feeling that the overall experience one has depends on which suite you are in. I stayed in the Garden Suite. I did not choose the Garden Suite, it was the...

We spend two nights at the Robert Porter House B&B on Victoria Island. Location was perfect, we were able to walk to RC Museum, Parliament Building, restaurants, Fishermen's Wharf and ferry deck. Our room was very clean and decorated nicely. The house was spotless and the owners served a great breakfast and were very helpful with suggestions and directions to...

We had a wonderful stay. Our room on the second floor was spacious and comfortable. The hosts are very warm and welcoming. They prepared a breakfast every morning that was varied and delicious. Very pleasant environment. Excellent location, just a few blocks to downtown. Would definitely stay there again... and recommend it!

Our hosts, Celia and Bing, were welcoming and enthusiastic. Their only focus was our comfort and enjoyment. This beautiful old home is located just a very short walk from the waterfront, the Fairmont Empress, the Royal BC Museum, Government House, and more. Secure underground parking is included. Breakfasts were tasty. Other guests at the time included a couple from Australia...

This is a lovely B&B within 1 block of the Royal BC Museum and the legislature building. Easy walking distance to town, yet very quiet. Bed was very comfortable, wifi worked well in the room, the place is immaculately clean, breakfasts are generous and varied, and the hosts a friendly. We would have stayed longer if they had the vacancy....

Our first stay at Robert Porter House B & B was arranged via internet booking. The wonderful location of this B&B makes it popular with visitors to Victoria (walking and short driving distance to the inner harbour, Coho Ferry, etc.). Our room (James Bay East) was above and beyond my expectations. Quiet, modern, convenient, our own outside entrance. The Robert...

We stayed three nights at Robert Porter House and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The breakfasts were very good and kept us going most of the day. The room is set up well (if you're in the East room make sure you look in the closet to the left of the bed, that's where the fridge, microwave and coffeemaker are). The...

Very friendly hosts; a beautiful, clean room, wonderfully decorated older house from the 19th century and extremely close to downtown Victoria. The meals were great!! Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see!! Parking was safe and secure next door and the host even carried our baggage up the stairs. Would stay again!

The rooms here are not luxurious or particularly "homey" but they are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is pretty standard fare and plentiful, with fresh fruit, eggs and meat, and what appeared to be freshly baked scones or muffins. The hosts are friendly but somewhat aloof. Its actually a bit more like a boutique hotel than a B&B. Free parking is...

Excellent position very close to the Museum of BC and centre of Victoria. Secure parking available close to the property. Very comfortable bed in the Superior Queen Suite and the accommodation is good but very open plan. Superb breakfast shared with other guests in first class surroundings. Lovely hosts with nothing too much trouble.
