We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our tour of Vancouver Island. This was our third stay here and it was just as we remembered it. Paulanne is very welcoming and the room that we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The bed was large and we had good night’s sleep. We were glad to see...

You will get a friendly welcome at Ashcroft House. Our room was comfortable although we did think the height of the bed was funny. The house has maintained it's Victorian feeling and look. We received more than adequate breakfasts with enough left to take along for lunch! The location is great - it was walking distance to everything for us...

This was not what we had booked ourselves, we were let down at last minute by our first choice and they booked us in here. Yes we had a lovely room, but the way to it was along the the hallway which also seemed to be a storage area too. Paulanne did make us very welcome and was helpful in...

We stayed for two nights. We had a reservation for the "Cotswold" Room, but because Paulanne made some changes regarding the configuration of the rooms, we actually got a much bigger space. Thank you again! The suite was really great and comfy, it was almost a pity that we had to go out to see something in Victoria. ;-) Everything...

Ashcroft house B&B is a Victorian Era home located in a great location (1 block from Oceanside walkway, walking distance to Craigdarroch Castle and/or Empress hotel and harbour). We stayed in the Sheldon room, and the bed was SO comfy it was hard to leave, but totally worth it for the incredible breakfast. Our host Paulanne made us feel very...

Just outside the tourist zone but a 2 minute walk to the beach is the B & B gem. Paulanne, the owner, welcomed us warmly and gave us great suggestions for our itinerary. Breakfast is a 4 course extravaganza which we enjoyed -- no need for lunch! Our room was spotless and the bed comfortable. We left before breakfast on...

A wonderful B&B with a terrific hostess. Paulanne provided terrific breakfasts, great suggestions for our day trips, and was a joy to be around. The B&B is very comfortable and we will definitely stay there again if ever in the area.

We stayed at Ashcroft House for half of our honeymoon on Vancouver Island. The house was sweet, our room plush, spacious and the soaking tub a nice touch. One of our reasons for staying there was the advertised breakfast, which did not disappoint. Paulanne serves an amazing four course breakfast daily and was even able to accommodate our dietary needs....

We were here for a short weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was amazingly good--so filling we found we didn't need to eat lunch which saved us $$. Our room was beautiful and we loved the neighborhood. Host was very friendly. Would definitely stay again.
