Canada enjoys a long weekend on the occasion of Victoria Day (last Monday before May 25), observed in the honour of Queen Victoria’s birthday. And our daughter meticulously planned a trip to Victoria, the capital of beautiful British Columbia during that long weekend.
We first went on our honeymoon, and went back a couple of years later with our toddler. Still such a beautiful, delicious, awesome B&B. Highlight of our vacation. We stayed in the separate suite/ house since we weren't sure if our baby would be fussy...More

My husband and I stayed in the Gargoyle Cottage at the Albion Manor Bed and Breakfast for three nights. I wanted a place that was walker accessible. The cottage was perfect for us as we wanted something quiet without interior noise of other rooms yet...More
What a beautiful old home run by a two very welcoming hosts. Don has created an amazing garden while Fernando provided excellence in delicious meals at breakfast time.
The room was lovely and clean and had a nice early Victorian feel to it.

Hi there, Albion Manor is close to the ferry and I would advise you to catch a taxi , rather than walking especially with your elderly mother. She would appreciate the beautiful Manor and its gardens. There are many rooms to choose from and there is not many stairs. As to the castle we did not go there, but it is a local tourist attraction and your hosts are excellent local advisors to see the best of the area and they will point you in the right direction to get transport to all the sites. Make sure you take your mother to the Fairmont as well. Victoria is a wonderful city and Albion Manor is a fantastic place to stay to experience this area. Regards, Alex (cagatravel).
