Everything was beautiful! Lovely furnishings throughout the house. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the lovely, manicured yard. Breakfasts were uniformly delicious. Quiet street and location. Our hosts were available when we needed them, but we had privacy to come and go as we wished.

The building was exquisite inside and out. Our room was very spacious, with a large walk in closet, whirlpool tub surrounded by windows facing the garden, and a well equipped bath. The rear garden is a destination in its own right. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious.

We stayed on a Sunday/Monday night and had the pleasure of having the whole house to ourselves. Diane and Danusia were so friendly and attentive to our needs. The villa is situated in beautiful Rockland and very close to some breathtaking estates including the Lieutenant Governors House and Craigdarroch Castle. If you have the opportunity to stay at the Villa...

We spent an amazing weekend for our anniversary at the Villa Marco Polo. The house and the grounds were beautiful and very relaxing. The food was incredible and you won't leave the table hungry. Diana was amazing, friendly and very helpful. She was able to call and get us dinner reservations on a very busy mothers day weekend. She made...

I can't say enough about this enchanting inn. Just being there is a holiday in itself. It is easy to imagine "living" in this luxurious environment during a time when the world was more gracious and peaceful that it is now. The hostess, Diana, was as charming as the inn itself, yet extremely efficient. The breakfast was a delight! This...

After staying at another 5 star hotel in Vancouver, we didn't expect it could be outdone but Villa Marco Polo really delivered! From Danusha's warm and informative welcome to Diana's beautiful breakfasts, our 3 days were the epitome of relaxation and pampering. I felt transformed to another era and time. Our bedroom was beautiful, spotless and perfectly appointed, and turn-down...

The finest in comfort and luxury. Bed and bathroom were among the nicest in all the places we have stayed in. Breakfast was served in the parlor the first morning with a beautiful fireplace warming us in the cool spring morning. After that we dined in the formal but comfortable and relaxing dining room. We had the luck of spending...

An absolutely beautiful place, and words could never do it justice. Even pictures would never do it justice! You truly must stay here yourself and enjoy the beautiful antiques and luxurious rooms. Diana was a lovely hostess and not only made us feel very welcomed at Marco Polo, but made some great suggestions for restaurants and local sights that were...

We stayed here for our Anniversary weekend away and got exactly what we expected, which was beautiful accommodations, relaxing atmosphere, good service and food, and good location. We purchased a groupon deal to stay here at a reasonable rate, however we probably wouldn't pay full price rates. We travel a lot and always looking for a good deal. Also, one...

A leisurely game of bocce, a glass of amarone, a stroll past the reflecting pool of an Italian Renaissance garden, a massage in a romantic penthouse spa. Tuscany or Umbria perhaps?
