A dog was left in a room directly opposite mine on the first floor - from 5:30pm to 1:30 pm - and it barked the whole time. I reported to the desk. No alternate room was available. The clients for that room were not there, obviously - so nothing could be done. At the very least I expected a reduction...

Dear Valued Guests, Thank you for submitting a review. We are very sorry to hear an unsupervised, stressed dog, disrupted your otherwise peaceful stay with us. Although we are a very pet friendly hotel, it has been decided we are going to implement some stricter pet policies in the near future. When pet owners abandon their pets, the guests, staff,...

Room clean and comfortable. Pool great. No supper provided in restaurant, but great breakfast. Lounge very poor, not inviting at all. No elevator. Our overnight stay was much appreciated!

Dear Valued Guests, Thank you for reporting on your visit with us. We are delighted your overnight stay was much appreciated, with a clean and comfortable room. Happy to hear you also enjoyed the indoor heated swimming pool, and had a great breakfast. As of April 1st, the new owners have taken over the restaurant and lounge. There will be...

Dear Valued Guests, Thank you for sending us your thoughts. We appreciate your positive feedback. Our well-equipped kitchenettes are indeed a popular choice. Most of these units are located on the view side of the hotel, across from a dog park. Pet lovers love the convenience. The famous Galloping Goose trail is located nearby, and is a beautiful, scenic walking/biking...

Our reservation was made through TD Expedia not sure who screwed up - either hotel or TD Expedia. We were on phone from lobby of hotel until 2:30 am after a full day of travel. Somehow our reservation was cancelled even though we had a confirmation from TD Expedia telling us we did not have to contact hotel. Really set...

Dear Valued Guests, Thank you for reporting on your reservation. The staff of Travelodge Victoria do not cancel Expedia reservations, unless advised to do so from an Expedia agent. I am not familliar with your booking details. But I am curious as to why your reservation wasn't reinstated if there was a wrongful cancellation mishap along the line. Anyways, we...

For less than $100 per night it's hard to complain. And at that price, it's only fair to have lower expectations of how the hotel is going to be overall. Positives: - clean linen & good selections of decent pillows - reasonably firm mattresses - adequate and clean kitchen with good sized fridge freezer - housekeeping seemed to do a...

Dear Valued Guests, Thank you for taking the time to send a lengthy, and detailed report. We are very pleased to hear our hotel, overall, worked fine for your needs. The 2 most important elements of: cleanliness, and friendly staff, were granted at the Travelodge Victoria. Clearly, all the positive aspects out-weighed the negative elements, during your stay with us....

Stayed at this hotel for three nights. I guess you get what you pay for. My room was renovated but still smelled; I assume it was from years of smoking and they just didn't use proper paint to cover it or from the multiple dogs that stay there. The maids do a poor job; my toilet still had fecees over...

Thank you for your feedback. Some of our renovated rooms are converted former smoking rooms. While our hotel has taken all possible steps to remove the smoke smell including using the proper paint that you suggested to cover it, it is extremely challenging to completely remove the odour after decades of use. We find that the majority of our guests...
