Right downtown, very convenient. Older so a little quirky but I like that, and it has been updated and is clean. The opening windows and flower pots under the windows were a sweet touch. If your vehicle is taller than 6'2" don't bother with the parking option offered.

The room was very nice in appointment and décor, rather B&Bish . The temp in the room was very hard to regulate, it was too warm and the little window A/C unit inadequate. All the windows opened but that made it too noisy from the street noise. The location is great for walking to the harbor, restaurants, shopping. etc.

The Bedford is located right in the midst of downtown. As we were without car it was perfect for walking wherever. Room was clean and warm. service excellent. Coffee maker was hopeless for making tea. Saturday night drunks shouting outside disturbing.

Rooms were clean but very small and out dated. Beds were comfortable and ensuite dated but a good shower.Nice location, good restaurants and bars within seconds of front door but.... you get what you pay for. Very small rooms, no sitting for more than one person. dated furniture This property needs a lot of work!

The location of the Bedford Regency Hotel is great! We were able to walk to all of the downtown Victoria areas that we wanted to. The Empress Hotel, Fisherman's Wharf, Gastown, downtown shopping, local pubs, etc, etc....! The room was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. Loved the old fixtures in the bathroom!

We stay at the Bedford quite often as we have family in Victoria. The Bedford is nothing fancy, but it is clean, well priced and one of the best locations in town. You can walk to shopping, restaurants, waterfront activities...just a great spot. I mean...how much time would you spend in your room anyways?

We had to change our plans and our original choice of hotel was not available so we picked the Bedford Regency. The hotel and room are nice, if a little dated. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. There was a fridge - in the bathroom! You had to have someone tall there to reach the towels! Our...

Upon entering the room, we were surprised to see a wood burning fireplace. Although compact, the suite was laid out nicely and the fixtures really gave the impression of a 'boutique' hotel. The bed was a bit on the hard side, but the location was perfect, staff were friendly and helpful, and the parking is not an issue. Love Victoria..

We really enjoyed our Victoria visit - the location, the vintage ambience of our room & lovely window box flowers, friendly staff absolutely enhanced our weekend! Travelled with a friend - both of us were most impressed - added bonus: we ended up with a view of the harbour. Thank you - will be back!

This is a perfect in town hotel. Comfortable bed, nice linens and towels. Walking distance to huge choice of restaurants. Courtyard rooms look at a wall about 30' away, but I did not feel anyone was looking at me or I looked in another room. My husband loved the fire laid in the working fireplace. He lit it the first...

“The room, 21, was overlooking Government Street. There are some lively venues nearby, which may bother some people, but my sister and I found it to be charming. I would stay in this room again, and I am looking forward to coming in the summer so I can see the flowers in the window boxes in bloom.”
